The gay marriage issue that Prop 8 started out being about is now distracting from a bigger issue -- Whackos want to corrupt our Constitution so it fits in with their religious belief and so it takes away people's rights... If you really want equality, then KEEP THE STATE OUT OF ALL FORMS OF MARRIAGES. Leave it up to religions to choose on who they wish to marry or not marry. No special rights should be granted to any group, including the group of "married" individuals.

This is ridiculous. This video does nothing to shed any light on the facts about Prop 8. It's merely an ad hominem argument against people who might vote yes on Prop 8. Whoever made this should be ashamed of themselves for doing little more than making a certain group of people look bad (and isn't that what all those voting no on 8 are trying to avoid?) Shameful.

Dude (apologetickid), what's ridiculous about it? This commercial is telling the truth, which cannot be said about any of the scare tactic commercials that are on TV for yes on 8. This is the bigger issue at stake here. The fact of Prop 8 is that religious nuts want to hijack the state Constitution and make it into the opposite of what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to protect everyone's rights. What if next time we are voting to take away some of your rights...?
