the next issue I have with it, is that I haven't gotten over it's nerd factor. it will draw attention to you. so, it's a bit too nerdy for me to where in public.
otherwise it's pretty neat, but you want to careful of how you treat it. you can break the wiring in the shirt that runs to the display. so, don't play sports in it.
sorry to hear about that. I don't wear it often. I think of the shirt more of a novelty, not something I'd wear normally. so I guess that's why mine still works fine.
I washed the shirt and after reconnecting the display and the other stuff it seemed to have a slack joint, but now it doesn't make anything anymore.(the "receiver" probably works, but the display doesn't)
Chalk up another wifi shirt broken here too with the exact same problem. The "slack joint" appears to be between the ribbon cable and the OLED panel contact joint. If I squeeze the two together, it works just fine. Great concept, poor execution.
I wish it was rechargeable via usb that would be perfect!

nope. it just detects signal and represents that through the lighting system on the shirt.

Yes. It should work for any Wifi signal. As long as it's 802.11
