@ekinothedragon He either does 1 of 2 things. Either A, he uses a green baseplate, and records the gameplay spereatly, and chroma keys it (Green Screen Effect) Or he just takes a clip of gameplay, puts it where the baseplate would be, lowers the transnsparency, and tada!
