the procedure is complex...but once u become a doc. , you r in great opportunity to earn for you, family and for everyone around, the helpless, the deprived ones your income will b more than sufficient !!! You will always b get going!
its sounds like theres so many road blocks to becoming a doctor. If you make it a couple of years in and your not making the grades, then what? You owe thousands and have no way to pay it back. The money isnt good enough to justify it, a nurse anestatist(4yr, BSN in nursing=cake+2yrs. of NA training) makes like $75-100 per hr. and most of the time their doing cross word puzzels and stuff ( i just job shadowed)
No question you can make more money in other fields in less time than being a doctor. Nurse anesthetist do make good money, require less training, & typically handle straight forward cases for Anesthesiologists. However, a life time of doing cross word puzzles for work does not sound intriguing to me (which is definitely not what their job is all about either). Being a doctor is still the best job ever in my opinion, and I much rather be the doctor, working harder than taking an easier route.
@5959512 I want to be a doctor because I want to be a doctor, not to get a doctor's paycheck. Those roadblocks are there for a reason, to stop those people who really aren't interested in becoming a doctor and weed them out. I don't care about the money, I want to do what I love.
what is your website of advice? i have been looking long and hard at this program. I really want to be a doctor so bad and know that I can get in. I am actually a Pre-med student at MTSU, but it is more focusing my bachelors... what others schools has this B.A. ---M.D. program?
we are at the end of the school year and things have been pretty lax. i feel as though i am wasting my time and i simply cannot wait to devote my time to studying medical sciences. this is something that i have been wanting to do since i was seven. am i worrying too much?
Your motivation is great, but don't get too far ahead of yourself. Studying for the MCAT now is too early, but getting ready for being premed in college by forming a solid plan isn't. There is alot you can do and I advise the following. On our website we have a free 30 minute webinar that would be helpful for someone such a your self. We also have a book, and our ultimate prep is our summer premed course.
I am a high school senior about to embark on my first year of a pre-med program. over the past year i have been vigorously studying anatomy, physiology, and all aspects of various diseases. about a month ago i purchased an mcat study guide book which covers study skills and reveiws basic biology, chemistry, anatomy, and pharmacology. i have been studying heavily and, despite great accomplishment, i still feel as though i am unprepared for this comming year.

@5959512 I think it depends on where you work. A hospital in a large town should keep you busy and not doing crossword puzzles.
