'Harris unexpectedly knocked it out of the ballpark with his closing number when he hosted the Tony Awards this year. As the show was in progress, he and two writers were backstage coming up with song lyrics summarizing who got which award, set to the tune of "Tonight" from West Side Story and "Luck Be a Lady" from Guys and Dolls.'

best Tony's I have ever seen...I hope they keep up this set up for awhile, at least. Just the opening was weak electronically. Indeed, you can here, during the opening when 'Guys and Dolls' and 'West Side Srory' men were out there, the soprano's warming up backstage. Of course, Elton was not heard at the begnning either. However, still best Tony's I have seen in 30+ years. Bravo!
