  • Omar = best character in The Wire

  • Bahaha. Stringer, that rather amusing individual. "Faggot >:C".

  • that lawyer is so sick but he dirty so he got his hands tied

  • Best part of the wire!!

  • Stringer Bell and the rest of the crew are only 'there for Bird' to let that fool believe that 'you stand by your people'. Bird's just a dispensible asset. If Stringer and the rest weren't there, then there's the risk of Bird 'snitching' when he's fed up of maximum security.

  • SMH its crazy could no Dealer Fuck with Omar @ the end of the series hes killed by the hands of a Child!!!

  • Boi every time theres ah scene wit Omar he kills it!!!!

  • The Sad part is... Nobody want it with that Nigga Gay or Not.

  • Omar was a bad mother fucker and sister, too.

  • Bird: You lying cocksucker!!!

    Omar: *wink*

  • Judge is like WTF you looking at me for, omar just told the truth.

  • The amount of classic quotes Omar utters in seven minutes and twenty seconds would perplex a statistician.

  • Stringer Bell and Det. McNulty. Brit meets brit!

  • Being called amoral by Levy. That's rich...

  • stringer bell at 1:04 calling omar a fagget he said that with passion lol

  • "ayo what up Bird" lmfao. Best character in tv history.

  • Omar is one baaad mutha fucka... He comin'!!

  • Omar is a badass

  • Lawyer:"You say you aren't here testifying against the defendant cause of any deal you made with the police." Omar:"Tru Dat". lmaooooo, best character on the show.

  • Bird looks like a scary ass guy. Here and in Onxy.

  • *SPOILERS*

Is he lying about his age? I've read a few rumors about his death being his brother. His DOB is 1960 at the morgue but he says 29 here. Plus he had a brother or something in the prequel online episodes? Probably a reach though. And actually in the same episode they say that someone came in and took "souvenirs" like his shotgun. Unless his brother taught him everything? I know. I'm looking for excuses for denial.

    *SPOILERS*

  • Omar a snitch bitch he all butt hurt because his man died for robbing a stash house what else do u expect ripping off dealers ?

  • @Mattraction513 You sound fairly educated.

  • @Mattraction513 Omar expect to get paid.

  • @Mattraction513 And if Bird shoot a witness, he should expect to get snitched on. But the real witness was a little old lady, so Omar had to step up and commit some perjury.

  • @DankstaTV My question now if it was ANYBODY besides Omar telling wouldn't we be all over them

  • who knew that fredro starr from ONYX plays 'Bird' in the wire?

  • @j98765432123 Everyone.

  • @dallashood67 really? or did you just hear that from my comment and trying to look clever

  • my bad @ 1:50

  • LMAO @ 1;55 how the look pride came over his face when he made that statement...Superb all around acting skills by Michael K. Williams

  • He got a lotta heart for a cocksucker.

  • 17 people got their stash house robbed by Omar

  • i,t all in the game right?

  • Yo, yall hear about homie from B-more named Omar Little who just got arrested on a gun charge? lol that shit got me

  • faggot

  • "I got the shotgun, you got the briefcase - it's all in the game though, right?"

    Awesome quote, and so true

  • "Enough to not take it personal"

    HAAHHA

  • Omar = Greatest character ever created.

  • I love that stringer stands up at 4:30 and McNulty gives him a cheeky smile

  • The judge's face at the end is priceless.

  • The look at :21 is amazing

  • I think Omar is the only person to ever get the better of Levy, Omar might of been smarter then Marlo and Levy.

  • "it up to y'all really" hahaha fucking boss

  • i rip your heart out ya gotdamn chest lol love so angry

  • i RIP AND RUN

  • top 3 scenes from this series easily.

  • Omar's coming for the 17 people who disliked this clip.

  • 6:50 That's lawyers for ya.

  • This scene is tied with the encounter between Omar (with his laundry) and Brother Mouzone in the alley for the honour of first place in the 'greatest scene in the Wire' category

  • I'm gonna start wearing my ties like that.

  • 17 people are too triflin' to hit the Like button

  • lmao Phelan's face at the end

  • like how they made him gay and a badass at the same time

  • "I robz drug dealas"

  • I think real men and women need to stand up and get all them dam drug dealer, killer out of own community. It is over due for use as BLACK PEOPLE TO BECOME RIGHTEOUS...Omar knows its something wrong in his community, Do We Know It ?WE are looking at him with eyes that can not see and ears that don't hear, and mouth that don,t speak up.....WE the people have to become Righteous, because Own Yah (God) is Righteous...

  • "I got the shotgun, you got the briefcase. It's all in the game, right?" lmao

  • I also love this guy in Boardwalk

  • Look at the Judge laughing at 5:36 LOL.

  • I know he's a fictitious character, but I would still bitch slap Omar from here to Nantuckett.

  • @LordIam1 Thumbs up if this is the dumbest comment yet.

  • @LordIam1 I completely disagree. Omar is probably the most morally consistent and relate-able character on the show. Like so many people he is trapped in the ghetto and does what he has to in order to survive. But unlike so many characters both in and out of the ghetto, he has a strict code of conduct that he does not break. He is highly focused but hardly ruthless, and probably has more respect for every-day people than some of the police on the show. How is worse than someone like Wee Bey?

  • @vitek2 No No! I only mean that the character of Omar was scary to America overall. I agree, he had a high standard of morals, definatelly more than Chris, Snoop,Marlo. Omar respected the code of the game, you are correct. I stand corrected.

  • @LordIam1 It's nice to see that there's still room at the bottom of the gene pool.

  • @LordIam1 Look up Mark Brandon "Chopper" Read, he's the IRL version of Omar, except he's white and from Australia.

  • @ThatScrubKid omar was based on at least three different people

  • @LordIam1 You, are a retard sir.. Go back to school you fuckin' bitch ass redneck cmon son

  • @LordIam1

I'm curious - how exactly does Omar being gay make him any less scary?

  • @Jzadek72 I think that by making Omar gay watered down some of his mystical masculinity. You may not want to accept it but when a man is outted as gay, it takes some machismo from his persona. I am not saying that he wasn't a man, nor am I saying that he was not tough. Omar was plenty tough and rough. The script even had Marlo,Avon and Stringer show and speak a little less fearful of Omar once they learned he was gay. It is just how most of the world views the gay/straight dynamic.

  • @LordIam1

I disagree. That dude is coming after you with a shotgun regardless of orientation. I never saw him as having any "mystical machismo", just a badass smart enough to survive years of robbing drug-dealers who happens to shag men rather than women.

  • @LordIam1

Also, masculinity is unrelated to badassdom, at least to those who aren't ignorant. Take Snoop - sure, she's a woman, but she's still scary as fuck.

  • @Jzadek72 I'm not talking about a bad or tough female. The conversation was concerning how Hollywood takes rough and tough men and attaches the gay persona to them. They do it in order to water down their maleness, their masculinity. Also, I can express my opinion here without calling you ignorant, as you called me. No matter what you and I think, it's not gonna change the world, or how they do things on tv, so no need for you and I to get into a senseless argument here, right?

  • @LordIam1

Yeah, I'm calling ignorance on you. I see no watered down masculinity with gayness.

/watch?v=in9SiDtJLaU - this pretty much covers my thoughts on it.

  • AY YO!

    OMAR SNITCHIN!

  • OMAR DEVONE LITTLE!!

  • Omar got Levy, Bird of Stringer on this one. One down two to go.

  • "were not on the street, were in a court of law"

showing the law and authority is just as corrupt as the streets

  • Clever that Omar references the God of War.

Really should re-watch The Wire, it's probably full of little gems like that.

  • 1:02 lmao...

  • Comment removed

  • I thought otherwise... :)

  • Omar is my favorite character of all time in any movie

  • 7:03 brilliant

  • i rip and run i robs drug dealers

  • Omar...damn that dude is a beast

  • "i got the shotgun, u got the briefcase"...it's always the same game...that part is just superb.

  • Yo Omar a snitch yo

  • @SeleccionesMundiales no, because he was never there.

it ain't snitching if you lie about it

  • I would love to see all these guys talking shit about Omar actually step to a guy like him. What is it Alonzo Harris says? "You wanna walk your baby nuts around the block, you won't make it to the corner..."

  • I robs drug dealas.

  • Omar may be a faggot, but he aint no bitch.

  • Judge's face at the end: Priceless.

  • Omar is THE BOSS.

  • in the reality?the nigga would be dead soon like for real....THIS IS FICTION

  • @uaintshitnigga I kind of agree with you, but Omar's supposed to be that ridiculous exception to the rule. He's been smart and lucky, and has made it this far. I love what they did with him, turning him into this dubious folk hero character, because it made his death all the more shocking. Even though the entire series I was always waiting for that moment, when it finally came I was speechless.

  • @Wulfiebaby YO THAT NIGGA IS A FAG ! KEEP IT REAL why the fuck they made a fag hero DAAAAMN!!!

  • @uaintshitnigga Not all gay dudes are shrieking fairies. Some are cold-blooded. Omar's one of those.

  • @Wulfiebaby he's a fag and maybe you are FUCK YOU

  • @uaintshitnigga When you're an old man and suddenly realize the shitty life you've had was largely due to being ignorant, at least be a man and accept the blame.

  • @uaintshitnigga Because he boned your dad while your mom watched.

  • @uaintshitnigga Calm down Online Gangsta.

  • After seeing this, Omar definitely made left an impression on me. And this is coming from a straight guy. : )

    ---

He's not exactly respectable, but you can't help but love his mentality and the way he operates the game, not to mention his performance in this scene. Too bad in the end though....

  • So I've got the vibe Omar started on his "Covets those pistols" bit to make Bird flip out and make him look worse to the jury. That correct?

  • @IpponDropkick He certainly aimed to make him flip out with 'And the boy too triflin...' bit. Even if a lawyer can get that stricken from the record, the damage is done. So Omar is a great witness for the prosecution.

  • Maurice Levy is a piece of shit.

  • Judge: "And do you see the gun-men who killed mister Gant anywhere in the court room today?"

    Omar:"Ey yo, what up bird"

The greatest line ever spoken lol

  • @Socijala02 Ha, I love that line, too. My last name is Byrd, and I used to have a friend who would always greet me with that line.

  • "I robs drug dealers"

  • Omar is such a boss. What a fine point he makes at the end.

  • brilliant scene though. i got the gun you got the briefcase, levy is a bottom feeder just as much as the drug dealers cuz w/o the drug scene he wouldnt have a job

  • @keenanza Do you respect murderers more than the people that testify against murderers?

  • @efs120 omar is both

  • @efs120 What are you talking about Omar was a murderer, as much as people want to look at him like RobinHood, he killed and robbed drug-dealers. So that makes him righteous?

  • @1Grandsun I don't think he's righteous, but he never went after anyone outside the game. I just think anyone that blasts 'snitchin'/testifying is an idiot.

  • @efs120 I can understand that but if you are in the game then you know the rules and that means no snitching. Omar is suppose to be a man with a code, hence like he said in the first season "Snitchin, I don't feel the game is played that way". Also, he was being smart by covering his ass and wipeing as much of Avon's muscle out as he possibly can by any means, he did do that cuz he's an honest man, he did it to weaken Avon's muscle, just saying.

  • @efs120 On the street, from where Omar and Bird come from, a guy that's testifies against another is a disrespectful, disloyal cocksucking bitch.

  • @Krme1406 all due respect, fuck the street. move past thug bullshit don't perpetuate it

  • @Roca2991 I'm not into the streets, but this TV show is all about the street.

  • @keenanza He's not crooked or a snitch. He wasn't a part of Barksdale's organization who then turned on them. He was their enemy, who lied to the court in order to get revenge in the death of his lover.

  • This is one of the best scenes in the history of television

  • Judge's reaction is perfect

  • gay or not, omars a savage

  • My fav scene so far! (Just finished season 2)

  • day at a time I suppose fav all time

  • One of the best scenes ever!

  • Randy Moss lookin ass nigga

  • I like Omar's sense of humor.

  • Check My Channel UK Version Of The Wire.

  • that faggot snitch lol he put on a tie tho LMAO!!!

  • Omar was the best charatcher on the show but if this was real life I'll looking like "WTF" did he just say that. Lol Bird is hilarious no doubt, I know he is pissed off lmao. Stringer bell funny "faggot"

  • now the parasite are the banker and republican polititcian riping us of

  • @samantha34ize Get a life.

  • Comment removed

  • 17 people got robbed by omar

  • @beckjef1 They must have been drug dealers. Cause Omar never put his gun against no citizen.

  • 'faggot' lol i love Stringer Bell =]

  • I wanted to write I love the way Omar says Bird, then I read the comments below: BURD! =D

  • @TOURSGMD ha yeh and Marlo says "Bwarksdale".

  • BURD!

  • BURD!

  • Gotta love that look that Phelan gives Levy at the end.

  • I love that gesture with the tie. The judge doesn't know what to think, neither does the prosecutor.

  • I rip and run! lol

  • Classic :)

    Bless.

  • one of the best characters ever on tv. right up there with kramer and cartman

  • i love omar and the wire is the best show i've ever watched and ever will watch in my entire life but this is such a stupid fucking scene guys lmao. i mean come on it's the closest that the wire has ever gotten to being a sitcom. everything is so cheesy and ridiculous. omar essentially plays a gay thug bugs bunny.

  • how I love his mimics

  • MICHAEL K. WILLIAMS is a fucking amazinng actor!!

  • I shot the boy MIKE-MIKE in his hand palm! hahaha I MISS OMAR!

  • @felixtrickmaker38 it's "hind-parts"

  • @1russiancaravan ahaha hand palm wtf?

  • @felixtrickmaker38 He shot the boy Mike-Mike in his hind parts(the buttocks). ;)

  • I MISS THE SHOW!

  • I love Omar as much as the next fan of The Wire, but when Omar walks in jeering and Stringer mumbles faggot at him... LMAO

  • Comment removed

  • Not sure how many drug dealer robbers are so intellectual, but Omar's last comment was so true. Defending a criminal knowingly almost (or does, perhaps) makes you a criminal yourself.

  • @TheBigNegus

Ignoramous - a fancy suit/tie vs. old jeans and a ratty shirt; you couldn't come close to guessing the most "intellectual". Omar is clearly a VERY intelligent person, articulate, knows exactly what he is doing and saying - plus you don't make it to 29 there about robbing drug dealers and live without being one smart MOFO

Your stereotyping is just as bad as me getting off by showing a cop my tits or getting pulled over for being black and driving down Brickel Ave in MIA

  • @amyracecar328is You're right, Omar is smart. Omar is also fictional, LOL.

  • what a great scene.

  • stringer bell , bird , levy and mike-mike disliked this

  • You don't get off that easily, @IBeatUpThugs, who wrote: 'omar sucks. and all the dudes who love him so much are fags.'

Easily the worst comment ever on YouTube.

  • @efs120 i don't see how and that nigga was snitchin

  • Comment removed

  • I hate Levy. Fuck that jew.

  • LOL! Please. Another Negro philosopher....

  • Is it just me or does Omar kinda look like Randy Moss?

  • HOW OLD ARE YOU?

    he says "about 29" ahahahah

  • @1212studiosGTA Thereabout.

  • Comment removed

  • "...Faggot"

  • I shot that boy mike mike in his hindparts, that all.

  • it's all in the game, though! right?

  • 0:55 i laughed so hard at that part. hes so ghetto and hes fucking funny at the same time

  • This may sound like a cliché comment, but in this case it seems totally fair to ask: HOW on earth could someone DISLIKE this video? Is it because they don't have the brains to understand the series? Did they actually "miss the like button"? Or is it that they just don't like it in 360p, and they really want HD? Please, explain it to me..

  • @nimityanon I have accidentally hit the not like button a couple of times. It could be that and a few low life emotionless turds.

  • Well, he ain't building no bookcase!

  • @CarlosCMTF Reference win!

  • Michael Kenneth Williams (Omar Little) also played in the movie Bullet, he wasn't so untouchable in that film, he got shot in the head lol.
