If anyone can help me, I looking for game, dont know is it on Sega or snes, but it is about airplane, like Aleste on snes, but you fight against insects, I remember last boss is Giant fly. Thanx
hehehe.....the only dark point of these videos...some jewels are missing!I assume you heard of GleyLancer (I sold my wii to be able to get it lol), Ultimate Down, Bare-Arm on CD!but thanks to your video I had a better clue of other shmups beside Thunderforce and I might get myself Gairaes!
I've started recording my vids in 4;3 and uploading them as MPEG2's the sound and picture quality's a hell of a lot better but it takes me about five hours to upload a 10 min vid which is a bit of a bummer as it used to take about 30mins.
Mutronics, excellent job in compiling the list of shmups on the Sega Megadrive/Genesis. Forgeting about the missteps Sega made with the 32X add-on or Sega CD, when you see the variety of gameplay present in each of these games, you realize how underrated this system truly is.

I agree with ya mate, the Mega Drive is such an Awesome system with a hugh variety of games, i think thats why a hell of a lot of people collect for it today, and yeah it's quite underrated,
it's funny how people always blab on about the SNES's sound chip and it's colour palette but they always fail to mention it's processor which is about half as powerful as the Mega Drive's even though the SNES came two years after the MD, i think that's one of the reasons why the MD got a lot of great shmups which hardly ever suffer from slowdown.=)
Forgotten worlds was the only game on this list i grew up wit!

Such a good video of good shoot em ups for the Mega Drive. The quality is excellent. I can't wait for part 3. Five stars and favorited!
