I am a FIRM believer in the first amendment. However as a Christian and Teacher myself I am physically ill after hearing of her lack of education on the gay community. Teachers (like any other professions) bring their beliefs into the classroom, I cannot see her as a role model for any student not fitting her description of a "proper" child. Lastly, no one is promoting anything here. Schools should teach inclusion. Gay students need role models just as female students, black students etc

The Supreme Court has rejected an interpretation of speech 'without limitations' in order to preserve people's safety that concerns: time, space, type/way of expression. She wasn't expressing herself in some isolated environment from colleges, students and parents. Something that created psychological distress. Which is why she is accountable for her expressions (specially when they come from a public servant).
