@PlaneChasers hey dude, they are harmonics, it looks like they are being played "above" the 5th and 7th frets on the low e, to get a harmonic, lightly touch the string right above the fret, dont press to hard its just lightly touching it.

I like the way Bryan Adams envolves the whole band and kinda edificates them to show that they do a great job.In other bands the camera is always focused on the lead singer but not on the rest of the band.But here you can see a great singer with a great voice, there is Keith Scott who does the background singing and is an amazing guitarist. (one of my favourite) a great drummer and also a good keyboarder and piano player. They seem to depend on each other which gives them a great team image.
