Hi Pbaron23, I think this piece was composed by Yo Yo Ma and arranged with his team, the Silk Road Ensemble, appearing here. As far as I remember, Ma and the team were sponsored by a Japanese national broadcast company, NHK. They chartered Ma to assemble the Silk Road Ensemble to compose and play various music pieces, specifically for NHK's TV show, titled New Silk Road.

The name of this piece is called "Distant Green Valley" from the Silk Road Ensemble CD: Beyond the Horizon. The second song is called "Summer in the High Grassland" on the same CD. :)
