  • I pray God lets me be in a band like this.

  • Im so stoked to see these guys with mustard plug on sunday!

  • Just fyi, they are totally Christian. I went to their church. They played almost every Sunday on stage. I know them personally.

  • I dont buy into the religious part, but the song sounds great.

  • @muddwell fuckin eh, funny thing is they play nov 11 with mustard plug and ghettoblaster, and ghettoblaster plays music about getting drunk, high, and killing cops, but they do have a song about what it would be like to be a Talib if that has much to do with religion lol

  • mein Gott, der hat zwei Raben, Jesus, der war anders, umgeben von 12 Knaben :P

  • Cool band! Greetings from Serbia to all my European brothers! European Pride World Wide!

  • Can't wait to see these guys at Ichthus Fest next week!

  • I got to meet them, very nice guys

  • Mosh to Amazing Grace.

    'Tis a beautiful thing.

  • 2:20

for those that want to skip the monologue and just get to the MUSIC

  • Idk what people says...

I LOVE BEING CATHOLIC, I LOVE GOD, I LOVE THIS GUYS AND I LOVE THIS SONG !

And i'm not ashamed to say it out loud !!

  • This is the most amazing thing i've ever seen!! thanks for posting!! Good speech, music and people wow!

  • THIS SONG IS SICK!! BAND IS SICK!! GOD IS RAD!!

  • this was cool besides the praise god part...

  • @suprTOONCES well you know these guys are a christian band right?

  • @umbillicalnoose Ya I kno, it just happens to be my least favorite part about them

  • please don't ever delete this video. I ABSOLUTLY LOVE IT!! i watch it regularly and get chills everytime. flatfoot 56 is amazing:)

  • This was a bit bizarre for me. In my family Amazing Grace is played on bagpipes at the funeral of every male who has ever served in the military -- which is most of us. So for me, I associate the pipes and this song with funerals.

Just a bit bizarre for me....

  • THIS SONG WAS AWSOME LAST NIGHT!!!!

  • Big LAWL at 5:39. Chick running through the circle pit with her purse.

  • I love this song and love Flatfoot 56...I miss you guys...I need to come back to Chicago soon or you need to come back to Texas so we can hang out

  • *greatest song of all time* :D

  • It's called a circle pit... The reason this band is so cool is cause of the crazy mosh pits they have....dumb ass

  • While normally I like people to take a shot at giving their own spin to classic songs, these guys should have tried harder to pattern themselves after the Dropkick Murphy's performance. Doesn't quite cut it, rambling and falling apart at the end, when that little crowd for some reason starts running around in a circle. Maybe there was a swarm of bees?...

  • Doing Amazing Grace is cool -- I like that song, and the punk edge makes it niftier. Giving a two minute speech about God and sin and whatnot is lame, though. Understandable if it's just for Soulfest (which sounds like a Christian festival), but I'd probably leave the stage if they did it at Warped.

  • @SenoritaDiabla how can you like the song and hate the meaning of it at the same time?

  • that crowd looks like lame cows.....come cornerstone its like 5 times crazier than this

  • Awesome pre-song speech! Praise God!

  • who is this band and whats the info on them ??

  • if my soul made a sound, that would be it.

  • is that aaron gillespie at 4:33?

  • there coming to my churh tonight and its only 5 bucks i am going its so cool

  • i was there i was the guy with the cutoff shirt and the pompadour haha

  • Where is Soulfest held at?

  • Gunstock Mt resort, NH

  • Gunstock Mt resort, NH

  • Lord i thank you for sk8mchenry4lyfe i thank for the work you are doing in him i pray that the seed planted in him from viewing this would begin to grow father that you would reviel your self to him in an indeniyable way and he would know you are the only God the creator of heaven and earth of me and of him and mostimportantly he ould begin to know you as father. amen

  • @sk8McHenery4lyfe: If you don't like the music, GTFO. Problem solved.

  • @sk8McHenry4lyfe if you don't like religion then you watching amazing grace is kind of pointless hopefully someday the words reach out to you though. God Bless

  • @sprague1337: Don't like religion, but their tunes are good. Nice version of Amazing Grace - haven't heard it pumped out with such vigour for a while :)

  • oh and dont cuss god out please..wether you believe or not have some respect.

  • god already has.. ever heard of jesus? he is god and yet man at the same time. god has already revealed himself you just have to find god in what you see. god reveals himself everyday

  • you say that its a scam and yet our god tells us to give our money away.. tells that that money is corrupt and etc.. i see more people who dont believe in god murdering raping etc just to get some money.. who i do know and except scientific explenations for things. but science cant answer everything..they cant even fully prove evolution and the big bang. hence they are still called theories. and i know its true.. there is a book called the bible with 66 books in it.. read it

  • why does it blow? cause they sing about god? thats a lame reason. sorry to say dude

  • dang people lay off us christians... idk yalls problems are with us but get over it. we arent all bad you know.. and who cares if they play at festivals like this or whatever the case is.. they sing for something that the are proud for would love for and would die for.. so whats the difference between these guys and ensiferum the both sing about passionate things and things that they care about.. and if yall hate the religion take a look again and so whats really there

  • I love their music no matter what, but are they Protestant or Catholic?

  • they could be either or.. to my they dont sound catholic but it doesnt matter. theyve excepted christ as their lord and savior and will someday rock in heaven

  • @13dieter

Just what does Catholic sound like? Seriously, catholic-bashing is the last bigotry that is still politically correct.

  • @foxriverfred to be honest idk what catholic sounds like sorry for bein ignorant

  • @13dieter lol excepted....idiot

  • @13dieter They accepted Christ. If they excepted Christ, they wouldn't be Christian.

  • @13dieter What would make a band "sound catholic" then?

I agree on the rest though. That means, if you meant accepted instead of excepted.

I love Jesus and hope to meet Him face to face one day when God has no more use with me on the surface of this planet. All I could wish for is guys like these to build their relationship with the Lord so my time would rock even more!

    God bless all of you,

    <3

  • see thats real shit right there

  • What a lame ass crowd. who the hell would ever volunteer to play a christian music festival even if you are christian? worst show ever.

  • people who want to inspire people, if you dont like them, then dont go to them or search them. im sorry you feel that way about Christian music

  • Well, that's where you're wrong, I like Flatfoot 56 very much. I like all Celtic punk. I was not aware they played festivals like these. Trust me, it's much better when they play real shows.

  • This is as real as it gets m8!

  • why would volunteer to play at any concert? they go to play music whats wrong with that?

  • I would like to go on this group:(

  • Damn, they're churchy... i never knew

  • ya so whats your point?

  • I was there!!!!!

  • outstanding band, hoping to see them in rockford, il on 7/18. singer needs to cut down on the chatter though!

  • it hurts...badly lol

  • thats funny,

i was as at that same show, i also saw them in 2008 and they were sick there,

i am not sure if your coming this year but cant wait.

  • these guys are SOOO awesome xD

  • this was the first song i've ever heard by flatfoot 56 and i love them now!!! Amazing Grace is good even if Micheal Jackson sings it

  • These guys RULE !

  • well in this case i guess its showing love to your brothers and sisters in Christ!

this is awesome, and i really love the meaning of the song itself alot too.

  • No Innocent Victim shirt! Woo

  • I like the George Jones version better, then again I like country better, but heck these boys got something good

  • Cornerstone 09!!!! flatfoot, devil wears pradda, norma jean, underoath, showbread, come on out were all waiting!

  • they are fantastic young men, bringing the gospel to the other young people in their own way; i thank God every day for kids like them!! Go Guys!! Amen

  • What is it about Christian concerts that makes people want to touch eachother... I don't trust it.

  • Its one big family...

  • I'm a christian, and i don't like that too.

  • omg.. they're preaching?

  • there is a need for more bands like this... i have no problem with bands sharing their thoughts about truth.

    God Bless Them

  • PRACHING?? WHILE PLAYING AMAZING GRACE??? ANARCHY! haha :)

  • Love these guys - saw them in Buffalo with Street Dogs and they were stand up!

  • no i dient go see skillet but hopefully this year

  • yeahhhh!!!

  • the best band in the whole world . period.

  • So what exactly was that, A skank pit or marathon?

  • I saw these guys at the AGORA in cleveland with the Toasters. They were the best band that night besides my friends band.

  • man, i wish i was there im new to the flat foot fan club but i love em.

  • so...i ment this guy at one of their shows...: ) but sadly i didnt ask for his number or anything...so ill never see him again. shit. oh well. i guess everyone makes that mistake at least once. so anyway....LOVE FLATFOOT 56!!

  • At my youth group they alwayse play their CD once every week, and I am alwayse the one to be dancing......their awesome.

  • Preach it, brother! Haha but this song is amazing!!!

  • man dude i saw these guys last night with time again and street dogs and these guy were the best

  • This Friday in the ATL!!!

  • I don't really like punk, I'm more of a rock/metal listener (christian bands ofcourse) but I really like Flatfoot 56, they're my favorite punkband now! xD

  • I ran into these guys back in the day at corner stone music fest in il , Did the piper ever get a real kilt? lol looks like it he was wearing some mikey mouse cloth kilt when I met him. what tarten is that green kilt I can't tell kinda looks like clan scott green.

  • soulfest 08 was amazing

  • i was ther it was crazy with all that rain

  • 2007? Was there rain that year? I thought it was the sweat! Ah! It was insane, either way.

  • no 2007 was mad sunny 08 was pure rain

  • I remember. We got soaked, standing right at the front part of the railing, and people start mud-sliding before they sent us away to wait out the lightning storm on the last day. SO SOAKED.

Did you see the Skillet showing? We had to leave right before it started.

  • Saw'em live @ Sunshine in Wilmar 2008,

Great Show, we had alot of fun!

  • i was at that show too man, ya it was awesome

  • that bands newer stuff is awesome

  • lol...i camped unintentionally next to these guys at cornerstone. it was fun! Cornerstone vids are to come soon....:)

  • These guys are amazing, theyre so humble, once before a flatfoot show, tobin and the rest of the band were just walking around talking to people, not hiding backstage or miserably sitting in the back signing t-shirts or whatnot. These guys are the real deal, and i love them

  • they rock my ass off/!!!!!

  • U are right .. i was a punk before i become a christian but now i feel more punk than before.I`m fighting for something real ,not by doing drugs and "beeing diferent to society" .. i believe in Jesus and i fight for Him in my way! so.. oi!oi!oi! God bless u all!

  • @defyauthority6 that's a big, fat AMEN

  • i dont know flatfoot 56 is doing it greatly...

  • Punk is about standing out in society...in todays society a CHRISTIAN is more punk than your trendy "I wanna be differant like everyone else" self could be. OI!!!!

  • great definition of punk... not, you have no idea what punk is.

  • youve never been to an MxPx show have you? co founders of modern punk, founders of christian punk.

  • in the case of real moshing, try out as i lay dying. yes, a true christian metal band.

  • I wouldn't consider MxPx the founder of Christian punk by a long shot. Scarterd Few was well before them.

  • co founders...modern punk...

  • Well, Green Day (1991, though I'd argue that they aren't real punk).

  • Unless of course you mean the Christian spectrum of modern punk, then yeah.

  • Christian punk started in the late 70's by The Altar Boys. The Crucified came along in the early 80's and put the hardcore into Christian punk.

  • i saw them saturday xDD

and talked to them after the show.

    they were amazing.

    the circle mosh was great.

    xDDDDDDDDDD

  • lol i went to one of their concerts the 31st of may,.. and i moshed so hard fo jesus my mouth bled lmao

  • Flatfoot is one of my new favorite bands. I'm christian, and I just went to one their concerts last night, and it was my first ever concert too! I love christian rock, punk and all that. It's amazing, and it spreads the word of God.

  • Dude. Watching them on here is kinda weird to me cause right now they are staying in my house and I an go right down stairs and see them.

  • aw that pit looks like so much F.U.N!!!!

  • hey that's me at the bottom of the screen right in front of you. I didn't even know there was someone rwith a camera right behind me

  • Flatfoot 56 is my new favorite band. I heard the song 'warriors' a couple days ago and now I'm hooked!! These guys are truly awesome!!

  • This was one of my favorite shows. I remeber how rediculiously hot it was that day because that is the day I decided to put my hair in a moehawlk. =].

  • CIRLCLE PIT!!!! WOO HOO!!!!!

  • dude this is a christian band. with all due respect would u mind not cusing. thank you

  • they can not be not totally christan

  • not totally christian? that doesnt make any sense. ur either a christian or ur not...there is no gray area.

    anyway...just pay attention!

  • yea im not sure what happened there i put like a five line thing and it looks like some of it was deleted.... wierld

i know there is no gray area.....??? what happend o well yea

  • i only delete when inappropriate things are said. i dont remember seeing a five liner though.

  • Mate, plenty of Christians curse. nothin' wrong with it.

  • thats how ur presenting urself in that one line, mate? by ruining ur testimony by saying something as silly as that? many may not only question ur faith, but Christianity by that one liner...

we are to set an example man.

  • Sure You can cuss but that doesn't make it right. It says in the bible, "how can curses and blessings come from the same mouth?" somewhere in James I believe.

P.S. Yes, it means cussing. If that's not enough, look through either Numbers or Judges for cursing.

  • i was just about to bring up James... ya.. talkin about everything comin from the tounge etc.

  • No, none of it can be taken "literaly." *Saracasm* Why can't it be taken literaly, How can You call Your self a Christian if You don't believe that the bible was god inspired. So Jesus didn't die for us? God didn't create the Earth and Humans? I am confused.

  • the things in James is literal. Not sure if you know this. Christian means to be christ like.

  • the term christian is also meaning christ follower.

  • it means little christ. and it was first used in antioch

  • wow dude search your Heart! "Ephesians 4:29 -- Let no unwholesome talk come out of your mouth, but only what is helpful for building others up- according to their needs that it may benefit those who listen." so yes that did not build me up at all....so its sinning i hope you take that to God and ask for forgivness, and im praying for you.

  • You are right about how great Flatfoot is! Tobin is very articulate and doesn't sound preachy... Seeing them at a fest is a special and great experience!

  • Love this band!..but they preach to much before songs haha

  • A Chuck Taylor???

Tobin you never got a leather belt! Can't wait 2 C U in Monroe! OI!

  • 'Lelujah

  • dude i just saw them yesterday. it was an awesome concert

  • I'm pretyt sure that was me screaming at 1:48 and I'm also on the left-most side of the screen at 2:16 and again in the circle pit towards the end. The heavy girl in cut of jean capris and a black tank top. So much fun.

  • looks like a good crowd.
