  • Playing this 4 a exam.....I'll neverbe as amazing as that guy :(

  • waow. He's fast!!!

  • I'm thinking about playing this piece for the exams in Tampa...I don't know...I've already played Kuhlau quite a few times; Sonatinas are not my favorite things in the world.

Great job, though. It did seem too fast. It's okay, though, sometimes I like to show of too. ;D

  • it is way too fast but it is very brillient im 13 years old and playing this song for the houston forum for young artist.

  • oooooooo es maravillosa su presentacion ese niño tiene un don que dios le dio

  • this is just the third movement, what happened to the first two? it does sound rushed but not bad

  • Too FAST by a lot Kuklau's intention was not to rush this magnificent piece

  • I agree =)

  • Hi, could anyone tell me the exact pronnounciation of "Kuhlau"? is te "-au" pronnounces as an "o" or like "au"? I had that doubt, thanks!!

  • @s0fii66: My piano teacher pronounced it as "Koo-low."

  • i have been playing for 8 years and i played that piece when i was like six. all i have to say is that it was good but WAAAAAAY to fast. slow down a bit so you can get better dynamics

  • I'm 13 and this easy. My teacher, (who plays for the Milwaukee symphony orchestra), Progresses slowly. This took my 2 weeks to learn, but I usually have 6 or 7 things a week. When I get to certain things, they are easy because she UPS the level very incrementaly. Nothing I get to is ever "Hard". She says I am a very fast learner. I always feel like I am behind, But I'm really not because I learn so much repertoire. Many teachers give kids "hard" stuff so quickly after they start, that

  • way to fast man. im 10 and ive played played piano for 2 years i sware to god. i can play this.

  • more than music, it's an entertainment. it's Incredible, but it doesn't transmit anything. still, impressive

  • This is like a grade 6 standard peice that I'm learning at the moment. It's easy to learn. Hard to play sort of peice. He is playing it very well but too fast so he probably couldn't get all the dynamics in.

  • well I agree with Lullaby2003 , I've allso practiced this piece and it supossed to be Allegro , xD

    But it doesn't mean I don't think you're amazingly talented! :D

  • Incredible!! 5*****

  • I must admit the way this boy plays is amazing!! Oo

But for having practiced this sonatina, I can tell he's playing it far too fast! It is supposed to be "Allegro"... I bet he plays this fast just to show off!

Anyway, playing it this way isn't a good choice in my opinion : it sounds great at first, but it becomes quickly irritating and above all it spoils the melody (especially in part 2!)...

But again, he sure is a genius, and I sure am jealous of his talent :p

  • just to show off?? Of course and who doesn't? xD

  • oh my gosh.

  • I'm 15 and I've got this song from my piano teacher right now.. XD

he's good, but how long has he played the piano ??

  • OMG That kid is awesome. I'm playing this sonatina but I will never play it like this. and I'm five years older than this little bloy...

    You rock

  • haha you play this a lot better than me!

  • Im practicing this piece, too !

  • This boy is really good!! What grade is he? 8?

  • 9 yrs old => Grade 3 or 4

  • My jaw was wide open during this entire performance. Just amazing!

  • nice job
