@Marlene3858 Marlene,that's not true. I have been to Vienna this Saturday and I have to say that I simply love that city. You have a lot of interesting things in Vienna - Stephansplatz,Schonnbrunn which is truly beautiful,I have been there this saturday...i felt like I was in a fairy tail :) ,the Prater amusement park ( unfortunately I can only dream about something cool like that here in Slovakia),you also have a great subway,nice old trams (very well maintained btw) and much more :)

Thanks for posting this. I've visited Schoenbrunn several times and I always leave amazed. This is a MUST SEE for visitors to Vienna.  The trek through the gardens and up to the Gloriette is lengthy, but worth every step. Be sure and go to the upper balcony and view the horizon. Magnificent. I have been fortunate to have been able to visit Austria several times. The people and the culture are inspiring!

you should visit the bisamberg in strebersdorf. it is a little hill in the 21st district. you got an beautiful view over the whole city. next time when u are in vienna, visit the bisamberg. believe me, great place ;)

i think "vienna" is the latin term for "wien", like you don't say "austria" (latin term) in austria, you say "österreich". During the time of the roman empire "vienna" was called "vindobona" ;)
