What wood is the neck made of??? In all discriptions it just says neckthrough constructions. I hear that most neckthtoughs are made of maple... So maple?

The guitar body itself is mahogany. Since in a neckthrough the neck and body is one piece, I'm inclined to say the neck is mahogany as well.

I would like a really heavy sounding guitar. Ive found 2 bc riches the BC Rich NJ Deluxe JR. V Guitar and the BC Rich ASM Pro. the only difference as far as specs go is the jr v is mahogany and the asm is alder. Which is better for a heavier sound?

it feels alot different than the ec-1000 though as the different scale/frets changes alot, similarly i dont really like the feel of the matt finish on the ec-1000 where as this is gloss

I see that you really like BC Rich, don't you? You have Jr. V and Warlock, both deluxe. I want to buy Jr. V myself, but I'm not sure. It has all the features I want but this guitar is too cheap for what it has and it's strange for me. Is the neck comfortable? How about the Floyd? Is it Original?

Floyd is original and it never goes out of tune (almost) :) the neck is very comfortable to play, you should buy one :D
