Hardly. You're settling for much less than what Conor can actually do. I don't doubt that you've listened to a shitton of Bright Eyes, and his earlier bands, etc. Everyone kept telling my MVB was Conor getting back to his roots, and I couldn't have been more excited. But I can only listen to a handful of their songs now and recognize anything he would've called his 'roots' in the earlier years. Times change, people change. Sometimes for better, sometimes for worse.

@167dwpoole It's a Teisco. It also wouldn't technically be lawsuit guitar, as those are exact copies, down to the headstock shape and everything. Ibanez made a lot of exact copies of Gibsons, and I know several other brands did as well, but this one is unique enough that it's not a copy. The headstock shape, cutout, etc. are pretty unique to the guitar even though it has a vaguely Jazzmaster-like appearance
