Ive only been playing a couple years on and off, I mean I play what I want and when I want and what comes out sounds good I try and record it :P Ive never learned the chords or reading tabs. I used to play drums, so my rhythm is a constant, not multi-tones like normal guitarists.. But its fun so I continue it
Dude it's SO easy. you could seriously learn it in a few minutes if you just looked at a tab. basically you have 5 lines that represent each string, highest at the top, lowest at the bottom. You'll see a bunch of numbers ON those lines, those represent frets. So a 4 on the top line would be the 4th fret, highest string. That's it XD
