  • handbrake!!!

  • that is what I call massive burnout ^_^

  • world record burnout

  • what the fuck am i watching.. think its time i stopped procrastinating haha

  • Just another day on the job. These are fairly small cats. At time I have the same problem here in Western Australia only in 793D and Fs. Mass Gross of 483 tonnes sideways down a 1 in 10 ramp. Bite marks in the seat!

  • @inversboy Probably skid marks in your underwear too, lol. Cheers from Canada.

  • I'm just curious - why do they make those trucks with such a short wheel base?

  • @cnote4461 Not really sure. The wheelbase and the width are almost the same. My guess would be they are built wide for stability and short for manoeuvrability. Anyone else??

  • For this site....on that day....I would have preferred my Volvo articulated hauler....A40D or A40E. when it dried-up...put me back in the rigid hauler.

  • im surprised that was happening with more than one truck those two trucks passing each other on a slippery bend. just bloody waiting for a freaking disaster.

  • Time for the grader to come back they was burning the crap out of some tires

  • inb4 9gag

  • how can you film there. in the mine i work at they fire you if you film anything. in fort mcmurray

  • @javelinxd44 This mine is located right in a small town. All you have to do is stand on the berm around the mine and film away.

  • @ thinkforthefuture. I reckon he would get over the tyres for the cost of the down time for the sake of a wet ramp

  • Need a grader and some grit on that road

  • our mine manager would sack us for shredding 40,000 dollar each tyres like that...

  • I'd like to pick up my kids(if i had any) from school in one of these

  • um hello .... call me stupid maybe ( oh hope my sons pic on the left doesnt show up ) on the wet... why not come up with something like they do in the snow... like chains etc....cash is my name...

  • Should be more to size in GTA V.

  • Excuse me Fort Crack??? how freaking ignorant was that. Keep in mind this is a vehicle that is as tall as a two story house. Millions of tons in it fully loaded, and you don't want to deal with the ass end sliding out. Hubby tells me some wild stories especially about the Cowboys who think they are the top shit driving it. sheesh and you guys make fun of it.

  • @SandyeeBa "millions of tons?" Try more like 100, overloaded.

  • 10 to 15 grand a tire and the dirt boss lets em do that, what a hack outfit.

  • D1 ain't got shit on these guys.

  • "mad drift skils, yo!" It has to be an uneasy feeling having the ass end sliding in one of those big bastard.

  • @zinc20L it's actually fun sliding these things around.

  • @zinc20L yea it can be fun, especially when you pull the retarder all the way and do cookies in em. I watched my buddy do seven cookies down a haul road one night! It was freaking awesome, kinda scarey the first few times but thats the fun in it!

  • @41NS What is "doing cookies"?

  • @ablue202 Must be something like a donut by the sounds of it...I never ever tried doing cookies in a rock truck.

  • @JimHowDigsDirt

I thought maybe something like that. It sounds like a good way to get the sack.

  • why driving on slippery surface though?

  • I never understood why this thing doesn't use tracks instead of tires? Anyone know?

  • @rsx123 I think cause of the weight of it. I think they cant turn if fully loaded if it had tracks

  • @rsx123 - Tracks are useless. It would have to travel at low speeds and all roads would have to be straight, other wise it would take for ever around turns, or to get to its location.

What this hill needs is a grader, some sand and it would be perfectly fine to drive on.. Instead of doing that, they filmed it.

  • why didn't they try to drift them!

  • well ...pretty sure a PAYHAULER never had this traction problems...

  • Thought these were 6 mil a piece??

  • Quite cool drifting one of those... ^^ With all that weight it sure must be slippery!

  • n its still movin)) nice one

  • I'd be at work until they made me go home if I was driving one of these there, LOL.

Probably was a very tiring day, concentrating on not crashing a $mil truck in those conditions and still make cycle times.

  • @waults It get's old pretty quick going back and forth. I always looked forward to slippery conditions just because it's more of a challenge and it's a lot less boring.

  • @JimHowDigsDirt HAHAHAHAHaha,it gets boring going back and forth..I hear you bro..

  • I see it everday.

Those trucks have a lock once thet start sliding it takes a few seconds but it will kick it and lock all tires in. Think of it as a differential lock on a $3 million dollar truck.

  • i wanna c one of these do a mud bog

  • That's bad economy when they spins up with the truck fully loaded... And they're hard to manouver when they slips downwards unloaded, because the wheelbase is short. =)

  • Needs a tailgate! Short hauling by 15%! at least. Look at all the empty space on the rear end. That would help with their traction too!

  • Where's the blade?

  • that sorts the men out from the boys hahaha

  • @hag1970 More women drive those trucks :P

  • @deathraiderlol yes i know that woman drive them nothing wrong with that

  • @deathraiderlol sorts teh men from the boys, and the women from the girls Eh?, the drifting going downhill. and the power thru the uphill climbs was impressive, id say anyone of those peopel could write their own checks lol.

  • Those 773s are gutless on a wet incline. But not as bad as a 769!

  • needs a locker and boggers lol

  • time for a 24m or h I would say

  • fort crack?

  • @Dodgeram591 Coal strip mine in Stellarton, Nova Scotia.

  • @Dodgeram591 Trucks are not big enough to be "Ft Mac"

  • the key is speed

  • Look at all the stuff they kick up while trying to keep their traction, or get going!!! 5*

  • Awesome video!
