@DCUPtoejuice The media has no accountability and the fact that it is ill-equipped to handle election coverage doesn't help. Part of it is the people, but generally the ignorant and uninformed stay home on election day anyway. Part of it is a biased and gullible media, clamoring for sensationalistic presentation of stories to exploit and worrying about what sells more print than hard news and political platforms and policies.
