Christmas cake can be baked and stored for a whole year. I bake my cake on christmas eve for the following year! Now that is christmas cake! Sorry NOT AUTHENTIC, needs to try harder.

Can you tell the exact measure you are adding to your cake making, the video is good but doesnt show how much we should add to make a cake ao that the outcome is perfect?

Measure by weight 300 grams each of butter, sugar, eggs, flour, and dried fruits and nuts. Add 1 tsp of baking soda, and add some spices (cinnamon, ground cloves, cordamom). It doesn't tell you the exact measurement for spices... I would advise 1 tsp. 1/2 cup of rum. follow the directions as given on the video and remember to cut the oven off and leave it open for approximately 10 minutes when your cake is done. Good luck and have a Mery Christmas.
@manpreetsingh9243 Yes sometimes orange juice and lemon juice is added to cakes but I don't know how orange juice can be added to fruitcake....I wouldn't use lemon. Try google...or just try orange juice in aconcentrated form with fruit cake....something like maybe 1/4 cup. If you are going to do that....don't use the green cherries and try adding some dried pinnapple...no dates either.....
