This stick foundation broke me out sooooo bad... I'm still trying to clear the dark spots. It is soooo greasy and sinks into your pores! If you have oliy, sensitive or acne prone skin, I would not get this product.. or maybe it's just my skin.

@bee8174 Not too me, but if your skin is a bit on the oilier side you may want to try the photo finish light :)

Great video review. You can get paid some serious bucks for this. At first I wondered why you use so many different products...the beautiful finished look tells me why. I usually don't wear makeup. But now I know I can do this very quickly...all hail to you.

During the summer time is a different season and most people change the foundation formulas too. Myself when summer time comes around I will wear a light weight liquid foundation or a tinted moisturizer set with a light powder.

When ur wearing foundation in the summer isn't it very uncomfortable on the face.I have fair skin so ,I only wear the powder.. By looking at ur face ur skin is fair like mine so, u really don't need to wear it but,I just think it could be a problem wearing it so I',m asking is it uncomfortable for u on your face.Does your skin feel wet or feel like u how a lot of lotion packed on ur face please let me know .

That foundation looks really nice on you. I went to the store to find my shade in Iman and I thought I would be around a Clay 1 but it didn't seem like it matched...maybe I'll give it a try

a great tutorial,thanx for sharing with us dear,I use Iman primer and second to none cream to powder foundation in Clay 1 and the second to none semi loose powder sand medium as e clay medium is a bit darker

Great video. I have a question. Have you tried the Revlon Beyond Natural Makeup and smoothing primer? If so can you please do a tutorial or review on the product.

I live in China and recently saw this product in the local drug store. It's really hard finding products for black women here. I have become an online ordering queen (LOL)

Thanks for the tips. I use to wear the stick in clay 2 but after a while it became too dark after she left J C Penny and went to Walgreens so I stoped using it. Your complexion is the same as mine so mabey I'll try the clay 1.

Thanks so much for your tutorial, I have been wondering about Iman cosmetics for a while. I normally use MAC Studio Tech, NC45 and have been looking for a cheaper alternative. Do you know what color in IMAN Cosmetics that is comparable to MC NC45?

I did a lil research and on he Iman Cosmetics website they have a chart that tells you which Iman color is comparable to other foundations, accoring to their chart I am a Clay 3.... but thanks for your reply and keep on making videos, they are really good :)

Currently I use bliss cleanser and toner from sephora and Dr, Murad's Age reform line also from sephora. I gotta keep my skin looking young, lol. I will be 34 this year :)

Tasha, Love your video's. I noticed that you use several LoRac products have you tried there foundations? I have problems with shine after a couple of hours of wearing foundations. I see that Lorac has a oil free foundation that I am considering trying. Any suggestions

I have tried their foundations. The only problem I had was color matching. There foundation appeared to look orange on me. I have more of a yellow undertone. So I don't wear their foundations, but everything else like concealer, eyeshadow, blushes, and etc i like :) I would try make up forever's HD foundation I love it!! I will have a video up very soon.

I use Sony Vegas 9 platinum pro pack. It is very tricky to learn, but once you experiment and go through the tutorials it is fun!

I've tried the iman stick foundation but my problem is tht i have a lot of blemishes all over my face from previous acne. And when i used the iman foundation on my skin i first applied the moisturizer then foundation then i added more foundation to the trouble spots like a concealer, when i did this my face appeared really cakey and made up. are there any suggestions you can give me? i use earth 4. could it also be that i didn't use a primer?

You may need to use a primer of your choice to give the foundation some body. Otherwise definitely try a concealer with it.

@relaximdointhis I have the same issue with drugstore products. Usually where IMAN Cosmetics products are sold, there are testers. If there aren't ask the person working at the store if they would help you find your colour (by trying it). I've never seen it sold without testers available though. Also, on IMAN's site, they provide shade numbers of MAC or other popular products and the IMAN foundation equivalent to help first time users transition.

mayb i just dont no any better but i thought that u conceal then apply foundation--- so guess what i just learn something new-----THANKS 4 THE TIP ;-)!

Any time! There is no right or wrong when it comes to concealer. I like to put my concealer on last prior to powder because I feel that when I conceal first and add foundation the concealer gets mixed in with the foundation and the coverage is lost, but that's just me :)
