  • I love Noel, I love his art, dress sense, Boosh and luxury comedy and I like his stand-up but it does seem to be quite similar each time. It is still genius and he is amazing :-) and trust me if anyone else said that I would be pissed off and maybe I've just watched too much of his stand-up and have linked it :-)

  • I love this man soo much ! And his fashion , supposed to be asleep but can't stop laughing !

  • I like him, honestly I do. But for me stand up comedy isn't his forte

  • oh god, my cheeks hurt from smiling so much, I love Noel c:

  • awkward

  • I fucking love him....

  • 2:49 How he still holds the mic to his mouth xD

  • Genius shins.

  • Not so much a comedian as a full-on nutter. He's just like that all the time...

  • not improvised, i've seen loads of different videos of the same routine at different venues

  • @yateslucy conundrum being just that, chase the tail for long enough and some times the head forgets which way the ass points ":D

  • He must have a really itchy head.

  • This would be like me doing stand-up.. I'd just be saying random stuff. lol

  • omg loving the HD

  • I would love 7 or 8 hours watching Noel! So ye, if you know him, tell him, I counting on that 7 hours!

  • "heyy not in a gay way" hahaha

  • He should do improve

  • he's just wicked, simple as that

  • it's him we're laughing at, he's just a funny guy isn't he, even if his jokes aren't all quite there..

  • THIS. IS. HILARIOUS. love noel <3

  • Noel isn't very well suited for standup actually. His characters are hilarious and he's really good with spur of the moment jokes via conversation. Then again, I can't imagine Canada being a comedy mecca

  • This is how funky horses gallop

  • I'm glad he didn't do that silver grey monkey thing

  • We meet again 240p...

  • comedy is getting like music. lots of people love metal, lots hate it, but everyone just accepts that different people like different things. I don't think I'd go to see this guy, but I wouldn't stop anyone else from going.

  • I don't know what I'm finding funny...but I am.

  • I'm half-good! He's genius!!! :)) <3

  • This is pretty cringey.

  • this is one of my favorites of his :)

  • hes used that 'read my thoughts' joke so many times! classic though!

  • Noel has a very bizzare and deliberately awkward style of stand up, this is definitely one of his better performances... considering this is the same set that he's done in other places too I think it's safe to say he pretended to improvise this/not have any jokes with major punchlines. Like Noel said, it's a weird kind of comedy.

  • I got a bit of seed distribution and a bit of boosh?

  • "eyes that have seen too much"

  • Look at him, hes genius!

  • I've seen fish out of water. I've seen fish in water. I've seen dead fish out of water. I've seen dead fish in water. And now I've seen Noel Fielding dead in the water. And now I've also seen Noel Fielding dead out of the water. I've seen alotta fish.

    But Fielding takes the lake.

  • @seitenshow

Wow, that must have taken a long time to write....

  • Honestly im a big noel fan but u gotta admit this wasnt one of his strong gigs.

  • 86 people are battery-less Smoke alarms

  • I think this is what might happen if 6 year olds did stand up. Its like the mind of a child filtered through a dali painting.

  • I died at the galloping horse bit.

  • Weird. But I kinda liked it. Strange.

  • That was alright...I guess..

  • I don't know what you guys are talking about. This is fucking hilarious. "Yeah. That's what happened."

  • wow nice camera mate

  • genius

  • I've just experienced a psychedelic laugh. Again. There's no one like Noel.

  • He is pretty good but he does better at the big fat quiz, you know, taking what someone says and turning it into his own joke. Ya know?

  • He did the microphone joke again at michael mcintyres comedy roadshow hehe

  • did he really just step out and improvise this? if so Im fucking impressed, if he is just pretending to improvise... Im still fucking impressed.

  • @streetfightsecrets He's been doing this set for years, you can see him doing at the comedy store about 10 years ago

  • @davmeva yeah i saw it elsewhere about 5 mins after I posted that comment - thanks tho :)

  • @streetfightsecrets Unfortunately I have heard a few of these jokes before, so it can't be all improvised.

  • @streetfightsecrets he didn't improvise, at the start he was talking about his act? but he is still AMAZING!!

  • @streetfightsecrets definitely not improv, he did this in the australian comedy gala :) still a funny guy

  • @streetfightsecrets the intro is pretty similar to another show iv been to

  • Terrible stand up just do a Fourth series

  • he's just too sweet for his own good

  • Damn iPad touch pad, anyhow stitching, it may surprise you to know that Canada has huge ties to the UK. The queen is still an important part of our heritage. Also, speaking generally, our comedy is also very zany, check out "Kids in the Hall". I think our comedy has much greater parallels to the UK than to our American friends in the south.

  • Hey Stitching, it might surprise you Krio now that

  • Hmm, I think his stand up is funny but incredibly unique therefore I understand why many people think it isn't funny. Perhaps another reason the crowd werent diggin' it much is because he was in Canada, I know nothing about how familiar Canada are with Noel or The Mighty Boosh but I imagine this comedy is much more appreciated in England where we alot of the comedy we like is random and off the wall, and the fact that Noel is ery famous in Britain and we would probably be more used to it.

  • this was kind of awkward... x_x

  • I get this humour etirely. I love random, off the wall, surreal humour. I love Spike Milligan, Monty Python, Bill Baily. I love funny shit.

Noel Fielding is painfully unfunny....Liked by people feel they aught to like him, like an accessory to thier skinny jeans and their copy of Russell Brand's "Booky Wooky". He's a c**t too. :) Peace. x

  • @Kevo216666 You say that and wish us peace? That's like asking for a war. Noel Fielding makes me laugh every single time I see his stuff. It was to the point that my family asked if I was ill one time.

I laugh at the Boosh, his stand-up, his statements on Buzzcocks, and pretty much everything he's said on BFQotY. I don't feel obligated to like or dislike anything. I never have, and I never will. Noel is one of the funniest people I've ever seen, without any competition.

  • Noel needs to stop fussing with his hair and his tummy!

  • If I had a dollar for every pixel in this video I would have $1

  • The quality of his video reminds me of 1998

  • isn't he Richmond from the IT Crowd?

  • i swear i was laughing more than all that audience put together

  • your full of sprite............. the drink

    does canada not have sprite?

  • I love the fact that barely anyone laughed at the Sprite bit until he clarified that it was a drink. What else would it be? Did the entire theatre assume he meant the mythical creature? Like a woodland sprite?

I love Noel. He's friggin hilarious! You can't beat that.

  • @polyxenophile sprite means like energy as well which is what he meant before the joke

  • @Nellyellyelson Maybe in a fantasy novel or a thesaurus, but I've never heard energy called that out loud in my life. Is it a British thing, because if it is I'll still be surprised I didn't know it but understand why. (I'm American legally and by birth, but in my brain it's a whole different story.)

  • Tell me, what calculator was this filmed on?

  • I love his style of comedy. Definitely my cup of tea.... or sprite.

  • god i can't believe no one was laughing!!! hes the funniest person ever! I love him to pieces!

  • Where's his rape cape?

  • which pixle is noel?

  • Am I the only one here who thinks he is the CUTEST thing EVER! When nobody was laughing, I wanted to jump into the computer screen and hug him and then sprinkle hundreds and thousands over his hair, but then I realized he wouldn't like that and that I didn't have permission to touch his hair... T_T

  • I think i just wee'd about the joke with the russian woman :') "my arm.... it's in a loom" :L pmsl

  • And by the way, don't like don't watch. Simples.

  • ah, 240p, my old nemisis

  • His impression of fire. Priceless.

  • Awkward...

  • "You've got a face, I've got a face. It's all gonna be alright." That is a good outlook on life, my friends. The world would be a much better place if we all shared that philosophy.

  • HAHAH. the smoke alarm joke made me laugh my ass off!

  • he is SO much funnier when it's like impulse comedy. Him as a team leader on Buzzcocks has me wetting myself at like every show, but his stand up stuff isnt so funny :/

  • He's been using the same, not very strong, material for years. Hmmm. Definately better off a character comedian.

  • I'll get ontop of you and get naked, Noel. ;)

  • I love noel soooo much but he uses the same jokes over and over and over. think i've watched about 4 clips of him now, and he's used the 'you've got a face,i've got a face' the 'lets get naked like soldiers' and the 'imagine if i did the whole gig like this' joke each time!!!

  • @kaaash93 welll you cant write whole new material for every single show you do, thats not how it works lol

  • Comedy is very personal and I just don't get this guy ... I have tried many times to get into the Mighty Boosh too and .. nothing to get upset about, but he just ain't all that funny to me.

  • It's hilarious how people get so upset about this.

Clearly, from the content of the objections these people put forward, they want to establish that laughing at this video is a moral issue, and that the majority that had enjoyed this have done wrong by not seeing that and doing so.

That is cosmically funny, the invention of new contexts for self-vindicating purposes.

  • Comparing that string of random unrelated statements to early pink Floyd is incredibly disrespectful, perhaps this comedian could have been funny if he didn't spit in the faces of those musicians and especially Sid Barrett. He spit in the face of a dead man

  • @BrosephStalinGrad He clearly didn't mean it in an arrogant way, just in the sense that it's a little oddball and offbeat compared to his contemporaries, much like Pink Floyd were. Calm down.

  • @DanEile oh no I'm not upset, I was just raging on him because I don't care for his stand up

  • @BrosephStalinGrad How you could possibly find that disrespectful is beyond me. This is coming from a huge Syd Barrett fan.

  • @phailez I didn't find his stand up disrespectful and I made a joking comment about his insulting my favourite band, but apparently the spirit of comedy is lost on the viewers of a comedy video

  • @BrosephStalinGrad That style of comedy doesn't go over well in text.

  • @MrBostpnHC have you seem him on the mighty boosh? That's what he's most famous for and he's amazing on it. He's not the best stand up comedian but he's a great comedy actor

  • I have given this cat a chance and sorry, he isn't good. Not funny. Not even close.

"was this filmed on a calculator?"... now, that was better than anything this dude said.

  • If Noel wasn't attractive he would have remained unsuccessful.

His comedy is terrible. LOOK! I said something completely unrelated to the situation, laugh please.

Please, don't claim 'I do not understand his humour'. There is nothing to understand, no logic, no punchline. Just repetitive bullshit protruding from the mouth of a mediocre comedian.

  • If you think this was bullshit and it couldn't make you laugh. Go smoke some #420, please!!

This made me and me dragon fall off my chair. XD

  • i love this

  • This is terrible :/

  • ha...ha... :/

  • I feel like people shouldn't just watch his stand up and go "he's not even funny" because Noel is actually VERY funny just not when it's prepared--he's more witty. people should base his humor off of the way he is in NMTBC cause that's when i find him funniest

  • @illscreamyoutosleep I think you're perfectly right but I also think it's up to the comedian to better exploit his own strengths. It's up to them to know their audience (obviously the most important aspect to telling jokes).

I've only seen him from the I.T. Crowd in a limited way but he played his role their very well. Nothing against Noel but I think he should better pick his spots. He may be better off with someone else feeding lines, just the same, and there's nothing wrong with that.

  • Brave stand-up from a modern master!

  • Nah. He isn't that funny. He just spouts out random lines, that are rarely funny.

There are so many better British comedians. Neol is sub-par.

  • "..You're probably working out that I haven't got any jokes at this point. xDD I'm only joking. Oh, look at you, sir! You're pretty excited, why don't you come on stage! Get on top of me, get naked! Haha, not in a GAY way.." God I love Noel. I'd get on stage, on top of him... Naked.. e.e

  • A see through funky horse full of sprite... how the hell do you think of that fuckin genious mate

  • is he just insulting his jokes the whole time..

  • If I got a dollar for every pixel in this.. I'd get a dollar.

  • I wouldn't mind 8 hours of Noel!!

  • that was genius! lol.. hes quite odd but his humour (stream of concious weirdness) makes a bit more sense if you watch the mighty boosh

  • OMG he is too funny!!! I was dying the entire time!

  • That's a pretty crazy hair helmet he's got there.

  • Youve got a face, ive got a face, its all going o be alright ;) ahahahahaa i love noel fielding :D

  • I love ya shins they're genius.

  • I just act retarded. some people love me for it. and I love them too. but some seem to really hate me. and I dont mind :)

  • "either way, I don't mind"

That's the spirit :p If you base your happiness too much on how people respond to your act, you'll die of depression a few months in. People are BRUTAL, now more than ever.

  • the quality of this. It beats avatar by miles.

  • British Comedy <3

  • genius!

  • i love early pink floyd

  • I like Noel Fielding, but I think his strengths lie in characters and reactive/interactive comedy instead of standup. Not that his standup isn't funny, but his offhand comments, reactions, and characters are funnier.

  • @emartinou I agree, the way he acts out his characters, and his offhand comments are more funny.

  • @emartinou I agree, he's the funniest on 'Nevermind the Buzzcocks'

  • @emartinou Agreed, :\ :) also, whilst their funny,he uses the same jokes way to much - seriously, how many times have i heard the words "if it was a shit gig it'd be ya own fault"? :L

  • i thnik that this is filmed with a microwave

  • @1FlushRoyal nahh i think it was a toaster :/

  • @1FlushRoyal Calculator :P

  • The amazing quality of this video is unfathomable.

  • I don't get why some people think this is boring! I'm just like Noel, I hate traditional jokes! This is much funnier. Monty Python, Eddie Izzard and Noel Fielding for me please!

  • @TheJesterGirl He's NOT the messiah! he's a very naughty boy!

  • Is that how it works, he just says funny words and it works, does it?

  • @miduchalan1 simon amstell

  • Canadians aren't huge on irony or outrageousness or the gonzo. If he came to New Zealand, the best commonwealth nation, his character would cause a riot in the direction of his person. Canadians can't handle humour or characters like that, I bet they were all thinking come on guy youre wearing a skeleton uniform. Stop wearing a skeleton uniform. If he'd been wearing a post office uniform with a buzz cut, they still wouldn't have laughed coz they're dry but they would've been focussed on his hair

  • canadians don't know how to laugh.

  • @IHateThisStupidChair

Yeah I know he's usually really funny, like in the IT Crowd where he's one of my favourite characters! But I was refering to this video cos here he seems as if he didn't have time to prepare and, as a result, his jokes seem a bit dry. Anyway, we have quite a few highly rated comedians in England, especially Jimmy Carr, Michael McIntyre and Frankie Boyle, all three of whom are undoubtedly the funniest!

  • @ThaRealBomb you should seek out some comedy not spoon-fed to you by the t.v networks. popularity does not equal quality.

  • @manof1001faces Nothing is spoon-fed to me because I watch everything online and not really on TV. I choose to watch the most entertaining, witty and funny comedy and, frankly, this isn't it. -_-

  • @ThaRealBomb the medium through which you watch is irrelevant in this case. i know from the people you list as your favourite comedians that you haven't seen much outside of the mainstream and your tastes have yet to mature; it's just a very herd-like mentality, promoted by mass consumption of commercial tripe. i actually don't think much of fielding either, but the names you offered up as an alternative are certainly no better.

  • @ThaRealBomb I disagree completely. If you knew Noel Fielding, then you would understand that this is how his comedy is. This video is Noel Fielding summed up.

  • aww his tony voice in 2:28!

  • I don't get the horse full of sprite thing but that makes it funny somehow 0.o

  • 2:50-3:05 lmfao XD

  • haha, the reading thoughts bit was good

  • Canadians just know what is funny. Mighty boosh is funny but this set is shit. His act is something i'd do to entertain slow children.

  • What's funniest here is that NO ONE gets him. lol

  • I'm proper hatin' this audience.

  • he did the EXACT same performance in another video of a different venue.

  • Nice down-to-earth guy, but his jokes are terrible!

  • @ThaRealBomb how on earth could you say this?! pshhhh.

  • @IHateThisStupidChair Well it's obvious isn't it? You can tell he's trying hard to make people laugh, and I commend him for that, but none of his jokes are really clever or use much wit Tbh.

  • @ThaRealBomb No, it's not. Maybe you don't find his jokes clever or witty, but Noel Fielding has got to be, in my eyes, the funniest human to walk this planet. And he's not famous for no reason. He wouldn't have gotten this far by his jokes being rubbish?

Yes, half the stuff he says makes no sense whatsoever, but HE makes it funny. And maybe you should respect that he is one of the most highly rated comedians in England. apparently not in Canada though.

  • I love him

  • Is it me or are canadian audiances allways crap

  • I want him to be my best friend.

  • Noel Fielding is like Russell Brand, except with good looks, charm, wit, a sense of humour, style, great hair, and he crimps.

  • @teratophobia But what's similar?

  • hes dying up there! but i love him so!

  • what a bad audience

  • @slye1991 U havn't heard of him because maybe your not British or live near Britain ?Anyway he's usually waaaaayyy better .You'd laugh if u watched the mighty BOOSH. Type in 'the big fat quiz of the year Noel and russel ' into utube .that's hilarious

  • I can see why I've never heard of this guy before...cricket cricket cricket cricket

  • my arm its in a loom!!! hahahha weak laughing!! love noel <3 <3

  • you got a face i got a face it's all gunna be alright xD

  • was this filmed on a calculator?

  • @oli696969 Best joke on this page.
