ok did u raise it buy using like a puling system? like hook i upto a circl spin it and a chain goes around a nother ball higher then it then the chain goes down and attaches to the lift?

Could you tell me how i can make the poles on the lift part to work, i cant figure it out :-(

If you want to know the controls;

Use Z to swing the boom.

Use up and down to control the fork.

Use left and right to drive.

Use numpad 0 to lock the fork.

If you want to know how I made it, just put the 'covers' to the background and see the mechanics.

how do you get the fork bit to lift up and down

Clamp a rectangle between some circles and set the friction high. Now set the circles hinges to be controlled and the rectangle will move along the circles.

Download this scene or my crane, put the body to the background and you can see the mechanics. It's a pretty simple construction, it just needs tweaking of density and friction until it performs the way you want.

It's a feature of phun 4.xx and above. Just select a hinge and you can set the controls.

Osht dude. I was thinking about making a forklift in Phun today at work (while driving a forklift mind you)

Kijk eens naar mijn video 'making tracks', dat is de simpelste vorm van een auto (met ketting is het een rupsvoertuig).

Maak een blok met 2 wielen en geef de wielen een draaipunt die je aan het blok hecht. Selecteer het draaipunt en geef aan of het een motor moet zijn, of met een knop bediend. Het werkt vrij intuïtief.

Als je een beetje engels kan lezen raad ik aan om het forum op phunland punt com te lezen.
