  • I love Van Halen sooo much!!

  • Wish I was back there in 86 now knowing what I know now.I remember it well. I was still watching live without a net on video and I was just starting to get into electric guitar after playing acoustic. There I am living in a basement flat in London with my version of a charvel/strat with Khaler trem and a 60 watt stereo gallien kruger guitar head and Laney 4x12 cabinet, a proco rat and an art 2000 rack processor.

  • awesome , that's the only word i can describe this song.........love it.....

  • YES! THIS IS WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR!!!!

  • Van Halen died in 1982 . Then their corpses stumbled through 1984 and put out a stinking piece of shit. They regrouped , hired Sammy Hagar and put out a just all out masterpiece for the ages ...this album is the shits !!

  • @mlmr11 Wait - is "shit" good or bad?

  • @jsmaye in the context of my post "shits" means 'incredibly awesome'

  • @mlmr11 Yes. It was time to reinvent. Some didn't like it but they are usually the ones that can't get over the fact that things change. They just do.

  • 5150 very best album van halen

  • The 80's? A corvette? Van Hagar? Where's my g'damn flamethrower...Burn that shit down.

Van Halen and Corvettes are what turned conservatives into wimps...like Mitt Romney.

  • @mattTubular25 Agreed, music's gone down the bidet, but better music than this, I haven't heard. And Mitt Romney can suck on a live grenade.

  • Eddie can play a mean keyboard...Love the melodic nature of the guitar phrasing and soloing.

  • They did some real good power ballads. Dont like their louder stuff.

  • @spanglehoff i agree. their ballads are spot on and hagar's voice works perfectly, but Dave does a better job on the hard hitting stuff.

still, i like hagar on this track a lot. probably my favorite Van Hagar song.

  • this was one of van halens best albums sammy rocked it man!!!

  • on the planet sonor any of the relev people use this song to inspire arranged marriages

  • @Freddy8736 your a long way from home, are you lonely?

  • Great song you do not hear on the radio any more.

  • Best VanHalen album ever......great music ....beautiful women ....great times

  • It was the summer of '87. All the skater punks were screwing around in the college parking lot on their bananaboards. A lone hot babe sat on the curb, gazing into the distance, sighing.

That's when I rolled up, C4 Corvette and aviator shades, cranking "Love Walks In" on the Lanzars. The second we made eye contact, the chorus hit. She mouthed the words "macho badboy...".

17 million dollars later, here I am, telling you to vote for Mitt Romney. It's time to bring the '80s back. Live the dream.

  • @RamboRepublican someone has a creative imagination. with that being said, i lean towards Ron Paul.

  • Sammy rules...it reminds me of my first travel to the US, when I bought this CD. I still keep it as a treasure!

  • luv walked in then my luv walked out.can still feel the pain to this day

  • @MegaStoneytony that isnt love, love endures, that is why people should take their time instead of jumping in bed as soon as they find each other, not saying you did or you didnt. everything has its consequence, the truth will always be the same. what am i a prophet or something? i dont talk the same dead bullshit as everybody else, hmmm.

  • There's always the debate of who's better - Roth or Hagar. But truth is, they both were great!!! So lets' stop debating who's better, and lets just say they both were great. They both were different on many levels and I respect both sides. This is my favorite Halen song... I was born a year before :)

  • this song reminds me when i fell in love with my husband who died in 2000 my love always ronnie

  • sam rules,dont ou kno

  • u missed it dog

  • Screw Tattoo. Long live HAGAR!

  • great song

  • I was born in 86 I got a love for 70's and 80's music from my brother which is 10 years older than me and also my dad is a music love so music is what I grew up too , I thank them for it cause I hate the music of today u can't even call it music it horrible I'm a true 80's girl

  • @MaryJanesLastDance86 love ya nick way to keep it real !!!!!!!!

  • @MaryJanesLastDance86 massive fan of this stuff too but you might enjoy checking out bands like airbourne, the answer, the union, tracer, chickenfoot, ash grunwald, buckcherry etc... true rock n roll today is far, far from dead!!!

  • @MaryJanesLastDance86 there's some hidden gems out there. i've been listening to the Skying album by The Horrors. it aint bad actually.

  • Van Halen is a fuckin lot better with Hagar!! People who say differnt are fuckin brain dumb!!

  • @Angelface6555 Better in a comercial sense, alot more boring than the Roth era.

  • @Angelface6555 I don't know. I don't think Hagar is better, but I don't think he's worse. I think they both brought new things to the band.

  • For those complaining about being born too late for the '70s and '80s, I was born in '59, which means I was in my teens in the '70s and my 20s in the '80s. Yes, it was great, but here's the downside - now I'm in my 50s. I'll trade ya. :) The good news is, my 15 year old son (born in '96) inherited his love for this kind of music from his mother and me and began playing guitar when he was 12. This music will never die as long as it keeps getting passed down to each generation.

  • @kqr573v2 awesome reasoning about age and generation bother

  • @kqr573v2 well said my friend

  • @kqr573v2 You are right sir!

  • @kqr573v2 Maybe I, like you, will miss being younger if I get to when I'm in my 50s; even if I get there, I won't be 96, nor will I be considered a senior citizen. Anyway, best wishes to you and your son.

  • awesome power ballad..i remember when it was the first official playing of this song on CHOM FM in montreal..it was a tuesday..and it was 8pm....

    killer song.

  • ole dead head never turn off van halen when on radio, wanna see them in concert!

  • @TheFatalitymaster yupp :) 80s has always been my favorite, always will be

  • You could only count on a few bands in the 80s besides for all the hair band garbage pop rock with no drums no bass all power chords with a solo guitar and a lovely singer for the girls!!! I stuck with Van Halen ,Rush, Ozzy and a few others

  • Was born in 1982 and I remember all their songs. Thank god for my mom listening to this while I was young. If it was left up to my dad I would be listening to barry manilow right now lol.

  • 5150 is timeless:)

  • damn you world for letting me getting born in 1992 :(

  • Sammy!!!!!!!!!!

  • it's one of those albums like Blizzard Of Oz, The Joshua Tree & Never Say Die. this will never die

  • gorgeous song about my jessie

  • I love this album. That's all, folks !

  • Weakest tune on the 5150 album. Still better than anything Kiss or Bon Jovi ever recorded though.

  • Hey IamRay71. No it is not! Sorry dude. Its all figurative, such as "silence speaks as loud as war...earth returns" and so on. The "silken gown" part is describing a vision of the woman in the fantasy. Anybody that knows Sam or has been around him much at all will tell you he is all about LOVE baby! In all kinds of forms!!!!

  • @MidnightRambler73 Yes. I think the Right Here Right Now version blows the studio version away. It was the first version of the song I heard. The piano sounds way better than the synth. Alex's drums kill as always. Eddie's guitar solos at the opening and middle are just played perfectly. And the overall balance is dead on. I still like this version too.

  • I hate the line "to my master, I become a SLAVE". That pretty much tares all the "love" out of it. It's a kind of matter fact that this song is about witchcraft, very few can understand this but it's about a kind of spiritual take over. The part "There she stands, silken gown, silver lights shining down" is about Diana, the Moon godess, said to rule over the night, the dark. This song is a kind of spell, believe it or not. I addmit to loving this song, love is so short in this life, we need it.

  • @IamRay71

I agree that it's a good song, but... witchcraft?

    I really don't think so.

  • reminds me of...

  • 93 was my year!! beats 96

  • @Tara23721 i feel ya. i listen to alot of different stuff now a days. but i'll always remember this track as a part of my youth in the 90's and so on though. it's great.

  • i miss this .....

  • Solid 80s power ballad - no more, no less.

  • @Madbreaks

    eat shit faggot

  • how i regret being born in 96

  • @TheFatalitymaster

    96? I was born in 91...That sucks...Eh...

  • @shadowlake17 91 is better than 96

  • @TheFatalitymaster dude I was born in 69 and wish I was born in 96. Grass is always greener I guess. Enjoy your span bro.

  • @mack666wikid i just hate living in this generation of pop and all that other stupid music these days.

  • @TheFatalitymaster Try being born in '93 pal. I was born right after all this stuff happened. It's almost heartbreaking to find out that you just missed it. That's why I'm thankful for my dad. He grew up with this stuff. He was only 18 when this album came out. He's also seen a bunch of awesome bands in concert: Metallica, Kiss, REM, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, all the greats.

  • @servantlol my dad grew up with this stuff too and yeah,it's heartbreaking.

  • @TheFatalitymaster same here i was born in 96...

  • @cinderellafreak2011 it sucks,we missed out on all the good shit

  • @TheFatalitymaster i was born in 99' that sucks even more

  • @1969DayTripper i know right, that does suck more. but we both still miss out on this

  • @TheFatalitymaster yeah :(

  • @cinderellafreak2011 Least we're here to enjoy it while we're at our prime

  • @TheFatalitymaster Man, I was around in that time - it was surreal!!!

  • @sexotixx lucky. what was it like?

  • @sexotixx im 18 n love halen man

  • This was some of the real stuff!!!!!!!!!

  • Love the old stuff....they rock ...

  • @JoanieMarie2011 Well to be fair theres really no new stuff, until their new album comes out (hoping its not chinese democracy all over again)

  • This song is great. This kind of music paved the way for the rock I listen to nowadays.

  • Love it. Brings back college memories for me.

  • man... what else to say:

van halen wrote history and dominated my childhood!!!!

  • i went to this concert in 86 at indy awesome time

  • i went to this concert in 86 at indy awesome time

  • I was on 8th grade when this came out, wao how many years.

  • amazing song

  • love it

  • whenever i listen to this and "Dreams" i get the chills everytime. Never gets old.

  • Great Rockballad from a big Rockband. :) Loved this track!

In my opinion the best Sammy H. -Van Halen -track

  • 2 people are low lifes.

  • good boogie van song

  • love did come walking in for me(; just by listening to this VH classic!

  • Wow! Real vocals, Real guitar playing, Real Music! nice to hear you again old friend.

  • @addicted2chaos72 Do you think this song would do for a 90's tribute? Do have any other song suggestions for that kind of tribute?

  • @nschario 90's? maybe. Another song you might want to hear is Van Halen "Where Have All The Good Times Gone" off the Diver Down album.

  • @addicted2chaos72 I think so. First Where have all the good times gone then Love walks in.

  • For 2 people Love walked out.

  • I love this song but the band should of been called "Van Hagar" It's not Van Halen Without David Lee Roth.

  • This is my fav Van Halen song.

  • like this if you were born way too late

im only thirteen i wish this was popular at my age

  • @FATgoat88 Play it anyway weather it is popular or not. it may not seem like it but there still is a crowd of us out there who appriciate real music. be relentless and let us MAKE it popular!

  • @FATgoat88 dude im 15 and this was my dads fave band, man i miss him but i get how you feel dude

  • When I hear this song, it's like I'm transported back to the summer of 1986. Fun times at Jones Beach, waterskiing on Candlewood Lake, family vacation to Puerto Vallarta Mexico, being a kid again....

  • i would do anything to be born in the 80s..man o man well am a 90s boy so o well those who were born in the 80s i slaute you and the great music

  • Gay!

  • Fuck you 2 dislikes

  • this song can apply itself to everyone in some way

  • why did you disable ipad playback?

  • great i can play on keyboard and im only 13 i just learned it in a couple days =)

  • remember EXACTLY where i was the first time i heard this a LOOOOONG time ago and it STILL moves me:} great song n a great memory

  • Im 14 years old.. This is my all time favorite song. I suggest it to be all of my loves songs.. They always say no. Why cant teenage girls these days listen to good music.

  • @A7Xwhitechapel Hey now, not all teenage girls are the same lol. I've been into this kind of stuff since I was in 6th grade (thanks to my older sister) and I'm now 19. I'm proud to be into the classics instead of all the autotuned computerized stuff you hear a lot. You just gotta get away from the typical mainstream idea that all teenage girls like that stuff and look deeper.

  • @A7Xwhitechapel I know right? I love this song, and all my friends hate it!

  • love this song

  • Why does everybody gotta brawl about this stuff? When you listen to this tune, doesn't just take you somewhere? Somewhere cool?! As some others have said, the lyrics just nail it, man! The line I like most (all of them) is "Silence speaks as loud as war, Earth returns to what is was before"! Can't get much closer to put the dream and physical form together better than that, right?!

  • @jamminjim247 - I've no idea who you are, but your attitude and what you've written there is spot on. Fair play to you.

  • Very few groups survive a change in lead singer. VH is one of the few groups who were a huge success with two leads.

  • 5150, best album from Van Halen. Love Walks In, best song from 5150.

  • @cdh00744 NO !! "Get Up" is.

  • I wished Sammy would rejoin Van Halen.ROCK ON!!!

  • Hey gang, I'm 56 years old and I LOVE this tune ! A great song transcends time and so does falling in love. This piece describes the beautiful feeling perfectly. You see her/him and BAM, it's over ! Rock on Sammy !

  • ืnice sound...

  • When Sammy starts to sing, it just never gets old...and not just this song. All of em! Sammy ROCKS!

  • My all time favorite one by them.

  • Supeeeeeer hudba 8-)

  • VAN HALEN---''LOVE WALKS IN''

  • great song!

  • great song!

  • Imagine a day where a band actually had to play their instrument, and not only play it? but actually know how to write songs music to make it happen instead of the computer doing it for them.

  • Van Halen really knocked it out of the park musically when Sammy Hagar joined the band, its my opinion that David Lee Roth was an OK SINGER that had a lot of energy on stage! But Sammy is more creative musically.

  • i luv this song.i was born in june 1986 so i consider myself a 90s kid as all my childhood memories r from 1990 on...grew up hearing sum great music! even the stuff b4 my time like floyd stones journey hendrix van halen etc...thanks pops' !!

  • and now that the news is out that Sammy says he was abducted....this song takes a different turn. :)

  • I got my first real kiss to this song in 1987 at my junior high dance.....love always hurts but love really hurts bad in 7th grade.....she dumped me that summer Lol...

  • This song should of been played at my dance!!!!!!

    Stupid techno crap!!!

  • beautiful song, i cry every time i hear this song!!

  • I'm a freshman in highschool, and about a year ago I discovered true music. You know, the kind that actually involved singing instead of a bunch of computer generated voice notes. My only question is, why didn't I discover it sooner?

This song is just amazing- I can't believe I only heard it for the first time today.

  • @FireThunderStorm - Wow!!! How refreshing is that??? To hear a "Freshman In High School" make such a statement is truly encouraging! Whoever you are, you picked one helluva song/band to post such an awesome statement! There's still hope for the future... for having someone like you in it. You 'Rock,' dude............

  • @FireThunderStorm -I grew up in 1980's and that decade is jam packed full of this kind of music! It is a shame you are growing up in the auto tune era, dont let anyone make fun of you for listening to REAL music.

  • @FireThunderStorm We all go through that phase. When I was in my first year of highschool freaking late 80's hairbands and early rap was part of teen pop culture. I must admit though... I was one of the idiot teens who liked the hair bands back in the day. I didn't realize how below average the music really was until my ears were opened up to other things in my late 20's :-)

  • @FireThunderStorm Be glad you discovered it period. You could have never found it at all. :) It's great that someone in your generation found this type of music, and is breaking the norm of preferring things like the autotuned songs you often hear now. You have to feel sorry for people around your age that don't know of this kind of stuff. I'm part of the younger generation myself and I say cheers to you. ^^ Classics like this are where it's at.

  • @FireThunderStorm i understand what your saying man i love this kind of music my cousin showed me and i can play it on kyboard now Van Halen is just great!

  • @FireThunderStorm , welcome home my freind...welcome home. lol

  • @FireThunderStorm Just be thankful you discovered it when you did. You are still young. At least you weren't in your forties or fifties when you did. Enjoy, there is a lot of great music out there.

  • @FireThunderStorm

I am 47. Saw them warm up for the Rolling Stones in 1982, the first of the "final tour" series. Look at the back of Diver Down, and you will see the "Tangerine Bowl" in Orlando FL. To all of you poor creativity starved Youths out there. Read Herodotus!!!

  • @FireThunderStorm Better late than never, kid.

  • @FireThunderStorm

Welcome to the real world. Everything happens in it's own time.

  • @FireThunderStorm lol, the 80s were all about computer generated sounds an voices

  • @FireThunderStorm i wana tell you that 80's hair metal and glam metal are the best! and almost every music genre on the 80's are great such if it is rock i mean :D

  • @FireThunderStorm Eddie Van Halen is a great immortal.

  • @FireThunderStorm It's because love comes walking in. It doesn't walk very fast though.

  • Absolutely one of Van Halen's greatest songs EVER. Right up there with Jump

  • Surprised this tune doesn't have more views. Probably one of their best from the 80's. The sound is a bit dark and depressing, but still great.

  • I am so glad this song came out in the best summer of my life. My cousin Beppo and I were working on a farm in Estonia, and his arm got stuck up a cow's ass! I prayed to baby Jesus and Buddha that somehow I could get poor Beppos arm loose. SUDDENLY...this song came on my HAM-radio, and I reached out with all my strength and pulled Beppo free. He was holding onto the cow's nuts...that is why it was so hard. Anyhow, I love this song...great memories that last a lifetime!

  • I grew up on Van Halen they rock

  • IT´S FANTASTIC!!
