these 3 games had the most talent on one football field in the history of college football....FSU might have struggled with miami but as a miami fan i still respect FSU and bobby.....plus i loved how they beat the gaytors every year.

I don't know if we would have beaten that Bama team..maybe, but I know that that 91 team was good enough to beat Washington. In 02, Wide Left, that kicker was no where to be found afterward. It was later reported he was crying in his mothers lap. FSU bragged from the get go how good he was and then he missed wide right in the Orange Bowl Game, the year they played FSU Twice. FSU QB set a record, 0-5 to the same team , a record that may never be broken......

In 02, Wide Left, that kicker was no where to be found afterward. It was later reported he was crying in his mothers lap. FSU bragged from the get go how good he was and then he missed wide right in the Orange Bowl Game, the year they played FSU Twice. FSU QB set a record, 0-5 to the same team , a record that may never be broken......

Well we got 5 rings. You got 4 wide rights a wide left and 2 rings. It's a Canes thing. Can't wait for September 7th. I'm not expecting Wide right 5 but an ass kicking something like 35-10. New Offense and Defense Coordinators. We got too many good receivers. Our O line needs to improve.

"Wide Right 4" doesn't count, and should not even be considered a "Wide Right". All the missed field goals (Wide Right 1, 2, 3, and Wide Left 1) all happened on the last play of the game. FSU still had a legit shot to win that game in the Orange Bowl.

Ya, the wind is what helped the 'Canes score the points beforehand to win all the games for them. How about owning up to the fact that your kickers just plain suck and if your team would've taken care of business during the game, it wouldn't come down to a deciding kick at the end. I guess the wind helped the 'Canes go 7-2 vs FSU from 2000-now - including beating FSU twice in the same year in 2003. The wind helped The U stomp the #1 ranked FSU rap group team in 1988 31-0. Ya, the wind.

Luck..In most of these games, you were favored, in all these games you dominated the game, and then choked it away late..To come back against a quality opponent is skill, period..And, we further proved that it wasn't luck by clinching national titles at the end of a lot of these seasons..

This is without a doubt the MOST intense rivalry in College Football. I mean look at it in 91, 92, 00, 02, 04 Orange Bowl, 04 reg season, 05, kicks have decided the outcome. that's insane...and you throw in the awesome games in 87, 07, and 83 and those aren't field goal games. the rivalry is on fire when both are in the top 5 (which used to occur frequently)
