  • those beautiful blue eyes....

  • surely you must have a problem with dogs trying to attack your cat? dog owners and theirs dogs see a cat they will come running.

  • @HUYI1 Usually, dogs are afraid of Ugo Chan. They are not stupid, most of them already know cats (fortunately, dogs do not know anything about Ragdolls). Some are curious (young dogs), but I am always on guard. Never trust the stranger dog to approach your cat too close!

  • wowwwww beautiful cat

  • What a handsome and sweet cat! You must be a wonderful owner :)

  • That's a beautiful cat! Looks like he has a great life! So sweet!

  • Check out my cat walking. We got him at 4 months, he is amazing he learned at 4 months. He begs at the door for us to put on his harnest. We don't need anything to make him walk, he even knowa the walking pattern

  • I've seen many birmans that look exactly like this cat!!!!

    Beautiful cat!

  • I also have a ragdoll seal mitted that a great character. I wish I had the same harness if you could give me his name would be nice because my cat does not fit into the harness of normal size ^^

  • Hello what is your cat kennel? and what is its harness with the dimensions? UgoChan is really beautiful! sorry for my english I'm French

  • Im curious - as cats are quite independent does your cat direct you or do you direct your cat while you go on a walk?? What happens when the cat doesnt want to go - or is that not an issue? We are considering buying a Ragdoll and would love to be able to walk it once every now and again

  • @ourjourney11 First of all you have to know that once you open that pandora box there is no way out. There is no 'once every now and again'. It will be everyday! My cat has his favorite routes, he is always leading. If he declines to go back home I lift him and carry for a while. Usually, Ugo Chan is very good.

  • I have a similar birman sat on my lap right now. Mines a lazy old fat thing now which just meows none stop for attention. Whenever i'm sat down, he has to be on my lap or gets VERY angry and noisy. :)

  • @deitschman231 Hahahaha! I guess that's called 'lucky you'. I know a birman cat who behaves exactly like yours. And when his mom is driving down the Cape Cod he angrily sits on her lap all the way. lol. Lucky her?

  • i want ur c4t =)

  • He's precious! He is lucky to have an owner like you :)

  • Will he run away if you don't leash him?

  • @KiddyWorld888 good question. I wouldn't risk. But he tried to escape one night, he hid under the neighbors porch. lol So the animal didn't run too far.

  • @ezcambridge you should train him, that he follows you, not you following him, than you don´t need to leash him. So you always decide where you both are going and thats all about it. See my vid from my 2 Siamese cats without leash...they are far away but always following me, they never ran away.

  • That is the cutest thing ever. I have two raggies and tried walking them about the house but they were having none of it, kept flopping and rolling around so I gave up.

  • They really r like dog aren't they...loyal, waging their tails when excited, even come running up to greet u when u come home - cute~~~

  • OMG I LOVE HIS TAIL!!!! SO FLUFFY...

  • It is SO bizarre to see a cat on a leash.

  • @Killrave2 Why? He likes it. And most important he is safe.

  • @ezcambridge I know, it's just I'm normally used to seeing a dog on a leash, but I don't embraced towards the idea of a cat on a leash. And don't get me wrong, your cat is absolutely adorable and I would LOVE to have one but it's just weird. What are the reactions of passer-byes?

Also, aren't ragdolls meant to be house cats? Pray, that they should stay inside? Not my idea, I read it somewhere.

  • @Killrave2 Believe it or not passer-byes think that he is a dog. Only kids notice. Sometimes cars stop. Ugo Chan loves attention and compliments. But he doesn't get much of it.

The main reason why Ragdolls should be indoor cats only because they are non-aggressive, defenseless. Cat walking on the leash is not the same as outdoor cat. Ugo is an indoor cat who walks on the leash with his own bodyguard. Ugo Chan is very adventurous cat and I want him to enjoy his life in full.

  • @ezcambridge Tell me, does Ugo Chan have a companion? I mean, you are working all day, doesn't he have someone to have fun with so that he isn't alone the entire day?

I've always took into consideration to own a cat, e.g like a Ragdoll or a Tabby but I'm always concerned that when he or she is alone, it would be quite depressing not to have a playmate. What are your views?

  • @Killrave2 You have to read more about the breed. I don't know much about Tabby but Ragdolls sleep 18 hours a day. Ugo Chan is very active in the morning and evening. I don't think that he is lonely or unhappy. We spend a lot of time together. Ugo is very well balanced cat. He occasionally petsit our friend's dogs and truly enjoys it. Some breeds like Sphynx, Devon Rex, Cornish Rex should live in pairs. They are very active and usually are adopted in pair.

  • @ezcambridge

My Ragdoll "Ella" goes for daily walks on a lead too. It's funny hearing kids say "Mummy, look that mans walking his cat" and the parents first say "don't be silly" then realise it is indeed a cat out for a walk.

Ella has learnt many words for our walks, if I say "other side" she goes around trees without tangling the lead. If I say "big scary doggie" she gets alert and looks for the dog. "home now" only works after we've been outside for an hour...

  • @PoathTV How wonderful! How often do you walk? Do you leave in a quiet area? Ugo Chan likes dogs... He is very trustful. I do not allow him to get close to unknown dogs.

  • @ezcambridge

We go walking at least once a day, sometimes 3 times. I live in a nice quite area and have a large, often empty, park near my house that is fun to explore. Ella, like most Ragdolls, is too trusing of other animals and doesn't understnad when she should be afraid so I'm always on guard to protect her. We both enjoy when people say "she's so pretty, and those eyes, they're so beautiful". I now have a 2nd ragdoll who's 3 months old so will need to train him to walk soon.

  • LOVE IT!

  • beautiful sidewalk, pretty nice cat also

  • That's like the most beautiful ragdoll I've ever seen! After my own kitteh of course. :)

  • @berry0201 Thank you. I am glad that you have kitty too. My cat makes my life complete. He brings so much joy... and endless beauty! lol!

  • @ezcambridge

Same words! :) I'm thinking about getting another ragdoll, I'd love to get one that looks like yours! My ragdoll is almost white, only her ears, face and tail are somewhat brown.:)

  • Where did you get him?

  • @amandafaithxo In MA. Btw Ugo Chan is not a pedigree ragdoll.

  • What a pretty kitty

  • My boyfriend send me this vid... at first he thought it was my Ragdoll :D.

  • Cute kitty!

  • @ 1:10 Catnip?? o.O

  • @NEKOvsNEKO That's right! My neigbour planted it for Ugo Chan.

  • oh god i could snuggle with that cat forever

  • I really want like ur Ragdoll Cat but i search for him in my country but nobody have or buy x-/ O.K how much u bought ur cat?

  • @EmoGirlAngry Where do you live? What country?

  • @ezcambridge I'm Saudi and i live in Saudi Arabia << in Al Hasa City

  • @EmoGirlAngry Wow, that's far away. I know that in Europe Ragdolls (name of the breed) became very popular. Italy for example. My cat is not a pedigree cat. He doesn't have any documents. But it doesn't matter, I love him anyway. Good luck with finding a perfect cat for you!

  • @ezcambridge Yeah so far X| i wanna ragdoll cat XD , i have 2 brothers in canada but i don't know how they can buy one for me -_-" .. and i think ragdolls cat's is very exclusive right?

  • @EmoGirlAngry and my sis is studying in Japan but i don't think if she allow for me ><"

  • I love the background music!!! May I ask what is the name of it? And your cat is way too cute~

  • @lingling117117 Thank you. I do not know. Youtube automatically picked it for my video (from Music Shake) and I approved it. No title though.

  • قطك جميل جدا ، ماشالله

  • @benozhr Thank you.

  • evry time i try taking my cat out for a walk it ends up me taking him out for a DRAGG so nott fair.. :'(

  • @1xXsweetcherryXx1 Hahaha. 'dragg'... You have to be patient. Take your cat first in the cat's carrier for a brief walk. Pick the most quiet time of the day. Cats are very curious and your cat is not an exception. She/he is gonna like it.

  • I tried putting Pia on leash, but she just won't move. How do you train your cat to do that in the first place anyway? Any tips?

  • @thekittykatdiary I will make a video. It is almost ready. I started to take my cat for a walk when he was young. Take your time. Make your first walks between 5-7 minutes. If your cat is shy take him first in the soft carrier for a walk. Go on the same route near the house. Do not go far away. Most important is to be patient and pay attention to your cat's behavior. Good luck!

  • I WOULD MARRY THAT CAT SHE/HE IS AMAZING JUST LIKE MINE (:

  • I want the same cat !

  • So adorable!!!

  • whats a ragdoll?

  • what a pretty kitty!! <3<3<3

  • He is so sweet =) Sometimes me and my cat are outside too =) She (Gaia, a ragdoll too) loves that so much ;)

  • so cute were training our two cats we live in a busy city so there indoor but we have land behing our apt. and we training them there very scared so we dont force them anywhere just give them treats and let them lead us theyve only made it to the pourch so far not yet down the stairs but its okay we only want them to enjoy it not force them i hope one day they will walk like this beautiful cat!!!!!!!!

  • I have a ten month old Ragdoll cat. He walks on a lead also. Every day we take him for a walk to the local creek area and he just loves that.

  • cat on a leash!!!!!!!!!! :DDD

  • SOoooooo cuuuuuute.! I want one too!

  • so beautiful!!!

  • I go outside with my cat in his carrier and we sit and watch the birds while I drink my coffee. I would be careful about the plants he chews on. I had a fake palm tree in my house which nearly poisoned my cat. He was sick and listless for weeks and then one day I saw the leaves of the fake plant had chew marks. After it was thrown out he was better and back to his old playful self. I felt bad for being so stupid because he was really sick from this.

  • @MsStanleycat I hope your cat never repeat same mistake. Usually they chew almost everything when they are young. Ugo eats catnip. My wonderful neighbor is growing it for Ugo Chan's pleasure. He loves it. Thank you for posting useful information.

  • He is soooo beautiful!!!and i really want to try this my own ragdoll!

  • Lovely kitty with amazing blue eyes!!!!

  • Love it! He looks like such a good boy and is so gorgeous :)

  • He looks very happy :)

  • Adorable cat!

  • This is fantastic! You have a beautiful cat.

  • I am jst wondering what is the name of music ..

  • @goldcrown2002 Sorry, no idea. I got it from youtube musicshake.

  • what a gorgeous cat. I heard that taking ur cat outdoor make them vulnerable to all sort of infections. So, since those breeds are indoor breed their immune system is not as strong. therefore, walking ur cat frequently would shorten their life expectancy dramatically.

  • @goldcrown2002 Not true. Walking your cat on the leash makes cat's life exciting and safe. He is not an outdoor cat. There are few rules for my cat: vaccination, short leash, and never allow him to get close to any kind of fecal. Ugo is under my supervision and protection. Cats deserve to have a wonderful life too!

  • @ezcambridge You are are a really sweet owner!

  • I take my ragdoll for daily walks on a leash too. At first my neighbours thought I was crazy, but now they've seen it's a good idea. And just like yours, my baby loves to chase bugs, sniff every flower, and generally love everything in the great outdoors.

My ragdoll also knows that if I put the harness on her it means only one thing, exploring the world, so she is more than happy to wear it.

  • beautiful and cute cat!!!

  • u know wat is wonderful the most great thing, that your not pulling him when he stops ur so amazing and u work well with cats he stopped and u didnt pull him and he continued nice!!!

  • omg it was amazing i have never seen a cat walk with a harness it look so cute he really seems to enjoy it ^^. would you mind telling me your experience tih your ragdolll i mean like traits in his personaliti and so .^^ he really looks like a balanced pet which means he is happy

  • @FIRELYprincess Thank you. Ugo Chan is a wonderful Cat with a great personality. He is very smart. I suspect that I do not spoil him enough. But I do everything possible to keep him happy. And share with you our sweet moments.

  • wow beautiful cat.He loves his harness! haha

  • himalayan cats rules!

  • @EOHackers hahaha, may be they do. My cat is a Ragdoll and he definitely Rules!

  • For some reason, this video makes so happy.... lol

  • very cute!!!!!!

  • now that's a Very pretty kitty, congratz!

  • beautiful animal

  • 1:15 catnip

  • OMG your cat is so precious!!

  • What type of harness do you use for UgoChan? My can finds his very uncomfortable.

  • @georgethewondermutt Hi! He has two different harnesses: one regular for cats (in this video) and another one for medium sized dogs (both products from Petco). None of them is comfortable to be honest.

Ugo used to wear harness since he was 3-4 months old, before he actually started to walk on the leash outside. Start to put harness on your kitty from very young age, play or feed kitty to distract.

  • @ezcambridge Thanks for reply. Murphy went out once on a leash and harness and then would not shut up for several days and night because he DEMANDED to go out again.I might have opened pandora's box on this - crap.

  • @georgethewondermutt HAhahaha! I warned you. Be careful what you are wish for. Ugo went outside last night during the snowfall for 5 minutes (it was cold for me). After that he was screaming next to the door "Take me out!!! or else..." It's like having a dog in the house.

  • did you get ugochan from a purebreeder or did you luckily adopt her? also wats the name of the song

  • awhhh,. im training my kitten to walk on leash as well,. she still scared tho,. but guess she'ss get used to it.. :D
