i accidentally wash my zune and when i knew how to open it , i did blow dry the part inside and make sure not overheat it then i wait until it cool down and charge it. MIRACLE its surely WORKS!!

@JesusHong100 try taking apart the backing for the button and putting it back together. If that doesn't work, replace it

HELP!!!! So I leaned with my arm on the Zune (8GB) and the main button is stuck in there. It don't make the click sounds its just stuck. like i can use it but sometimes its ir-responsive or the buttons gets stuck when I'm trying to fast forward.

the backlights are connected to the board in an interesting way, id just re-soilder em into place if theyre giving you a hard time

Alright...Id start with a factory reset via the Zune software, if that doesnt work then Id look at a full motherboard replacement, or if you iknow how to soilder just replace the RAM chip on the motherboard---Does it still play media at full speed?

I try resetting the the zune via the zune itself, and erased all my files, and still, it was slow!

the music you can hear it perferct, but when you play a video, the audio works well, but the graphic on the video are slow, like if they were set as 1 FPS!

Id pop it open and see if the actuall button, not the plactic cover on top is stuck in the down position, and if it is pop it back up. If that isnt the issue then check the leads to the button

i found that using a strip of duct tape just on that back tab that covers the screws works great on pulling it off with no marks

its pretty easy really, just like I do in the video- take something really flat and thin (like a nail or knife or such) and put it under the silver part at the top of the zune then pry down and it should pop open. Thanks for watching. :)

First off, its hardware. The software update didnt affect the interface at all. Second, if you want it fixed you could do one of two things. 1) you buy the part from rapidrepair and replace it yourself, OR you mail it to me with 15 bucks for the part (i have a few spare zunes I use for parts), and I'll fix it on video and mail it back tou you. Let me know how it turns our.
