But instead, they saw many positive things in the Islamic religon. Today most of us Tajiks are sunni hannify Muslims, which is the most moderate sect of Islam. But the majority of Iranians are shia. And most Iranians, especially in the west, are very hateful towards Islam. Most of us Tajiks don't hate our accepted religion. But we respect our past faith.

But instead, they saw many positive things in the Islamic religon. Today most of us Tajiks are sunni hannify Muslims, which is the most moderate sect of Islam. But the majority of Iranians are shia. And most Iranians, especially in the west, are very hateful towards Islam. Most of us Tajiks don't hate our accepted religion. But we respect our past faith.

Totally agree with you,they threw away a beautiful,much older indo-european faith,to adopt a religion completely allien in its basis to their original culture,warping their indo-european soul in its very roots.May some moreof them return to their ancient faith and discover their wise,beautiful links with pre-christian spirituality and maybe rescue many manuscripts from the loads which have been destroyed by islamic followers in history!
