I only use two but its easily accessible. One is to pop open the drivers door and the other is for the passenger side (shaved doors)

Store i am not sure. Used a guy on my local craigslist who had great reviews. Was in and out in 4 hours at our house for $120 which included him setting up the aux channels to pop my driver and passenger doors (they are shaved)

Good Q. The A/C is activated when i use the remote start but the A/C would have to be on prior though. Thats how it is with mine anyway.

Maybe there is a additional module that allowes to power from off to on when doing remote start.

about the proximity alarm.. will it set the car alarm off if you're in a crowded parking lot, and a person is getting in his car that's beside yours?

If you have the Proximity Sensors hooked up then yes it will trigger a warning first then if they are still in the proximity after a lapsed time then the alarm will trigger. You will be paged either way.

Oh you can set it so it will trigger if the body is right up to the window. This may allow some leeway with folks that are not within its configured boundary. Well that is what i have read anyway. I can't be sure as i did not purchase the proximity module.

You would need to purchase an additional module.

DEI 516u Universal Voice Module.

Got mine from Amazon for around $25.00 or so.

The 5902 was a gift but at the time and depending if buying online or local i would say around 300-350. This was when the model was released to the market so the price may of come down considerably since then.

Good video! I just ordered mine today! When I get back from this deployment, I was thinking about getting it installed at a shop. How is the battery life on it? How long does it take to fully charge? Is the antenna box (mounted on your windshield) big? How is the range, even though it says "1 mile" do you really get that distance?

The 2 way takes about 6 hours to get a full charge via USB to PC and lasts about a month. No battery replacement needed.

The furthest distance i have attempted so far is about a half mile. This includes a few building structures in between.

The main reason that i got this than the 5901 is the easy navigation of the menu functions. Strange enough though i am actually prefering the one way remote so i prob' would of just been happy with the 5901 lol.

It is the DEI 516L Voice Module w/ siren. It has a very 90's feel as it is not really popular anymore.

Set up for

VIPER ARMED (when arming)

VIPER DISARMED (when disarming)

as well one when the alert triggers goes off.

Very cheesy and retro i know lol.
