I was under the assumption that the word alQaeda was an American made name that they gave to a list of names of muslims fighting the Russians in Afghanistan, basically a list of go to fighters for gun running,murder and general mayhem. This is why it made sense when they used that name as the basis for the perps of 911. Alqaeda is just a murderous criminal entity that the Americans use to kill enemies,which is mostly always muslims. The zio filth running it must be laughing

I studied international security studies focusing on Al Qaeda at CSULA under Dr. M.J Siler who in turn was actually the relocated/protected identity of Thero Wheeler, kidnapper of Patty Hearst. I raised the possibility of this reality - that Al Qaeda is a western intelligence operation. Siler/Wheeler vehemently denied any possibility, which was suspicious. The findings of my 2004 cornerstone thesis paper are extremely similar to your analysis here, Morris. Thank you for spreading the word.

@hep48 And while I support fully the Green resistance and 'get' that on the balance of things, Gaddafi was a tremendous plus to Libyan society - my recent analysis opens the possibility that during Gaddafi's 'detente' with NATO in the mid 2000's, that among all of the security cooperation and trade deals with europe and USA, he allowed Libyan mercenary fighters to 'serve' in what are essentially 'Al Qaeda' brigades. I suspect the Younis bridages/defections are the visible permeation of this.

@hep48 Outside of OPEC tensions, and UN denouncements/shinanigans, this would also additionally help explain why strong elements within the Iranian government steered Iranian policy to support Gaddafi's overthrow. It also helps explain how and why Libyan/Gaddafi government officials were so entirely certain of the 'Al Qaeda' elements involved. Younis and Al Qaeda's relationship may predate the invasion, and therefore would have been a part of Gaddafi covert policy.

@hep48 Through this theory, we can also understand the 'real meaning' behind the Gaddafi/'Leeza' Rice agreements (via Bush administration) and their 'joint commitment' to 'fight Al Qaeda'. Since the US is leading Al Qaeda, to 'fight against Al Qaeda' actually means its opposite. Gaddafi was strategic, and stayed true to a long-visioned path that was virtuous. His main goal here would have been to avert an invasion of Libya circa 2005. Meanwhile, create gold Dinar and strengthen African unity

I think al qaeda was in Libya before the invasion, Gadhafi was the first govt to issue an arrest warrant thru interpol for Osama bin Laden, around 1995, after the Benghazi rats revolted in 1994

@wotan237 The LIFG (Libyan Islamic Fighting Group) were Libyans who are veteran of the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan who returned to Libya to topple Gaddafi and replace with an Islamic state with a pure Sharia. Bel hag or Al-Hassidy of the NATO rebels was LIFG Islamist radical who fought the US in the 2001 invasion of Afghanistan and send Libyans to Iran to fight US in Iraq invasion in 2003.

According to Osama Bin Laden "Al-Qaeda" is the "the base" and it was some old base created by one of a brother to fight the Soviets. He states that the name "Al-Qaeda" was something that was imposed on him that became associated with him.

Bin Laden says that all he does is call Muslims to defend themselves from the non-believers with their bases in Saudi Arabia, killings in Iraq, and the Palestinians.

He denies being part of a group but the Muslim nation or image given to him by west

@VexZeed Yes that is all correct. Bin Laden's name for Al Qaeda was and is 'MAK' - Maktab al-Khidamat. Al Qaeda is the CIA/NSA designation of the 'camp/base' (same concept)

@hep48 I believe MAK (I think it means "office of service") was the name of an organization Bin Laden belonged to for helping the people of Afghanistan during the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. In the part of the interview I posted Bin Laden said he doesn't belong to an organization with a specific name but to the "uhma" or Muslim nation. In an earlier part of the original interview he says he instigates Muslims to defend since it's duty of Muslims. Duty doesn't equal organization w/name.

@hep48 I forgot. Bin Laden also made two fatwas. Fatwas purpose I believe was to inform the Muslim nation as a whole (not one organization with one name) to identify the enemy of the Muslim nation and their duty to defend themselves. Bin Laden wanted all the people of the Muslim nation to rise up to go protest or take up arms against the US and other aggressors who are trespassing on their religious values. This goes beyond one organization but says its Muslims duty.

This is very true - this explains everything - al qaeda doesnt exist - it is used to create sectarian violence in iraq - whereas it cant create sectarian violence in afghanistan where 85% of the population are sunni
