My Grandpa was a tank driver in WWII fighting the germans but he was training to drive the rafts they dropped the soldiers off in on D day for when they were planning to do an invasion like D day in Japan. The war ended before it happened though as it says here
My lolo was one of the soldiers who survived the DEATH MARCH. He volunteered as a cook to escape from Japs tortures. At night when the japs are asleep, he will give food to those who are inside the prison.they would carry their co-soldiers to save them from Jap's deadly bayonetas.
