I like the Metro UI a lot, I like the easyness, looked very forward to it when using WM 6.5 on the HD2... until the restrictions leaked, in this moment my anticipation blew up from one second to another. :-(

As long as its this restricted, as long as I can't get USB sync (no MS, cloud only is NO proper alternative!) and regular file system access to an external accessible SD card (that stays unmanipulated FAT32, so is readable in every other device), I'll stay with Android and CyanogenMod.

@ecupaulac666 The tiles are constantly changing and updating. They're like big icon/widget combos. If anything, the tiles would make it slower, not faster.

lol @ the people commenting on how open and customizable Android is. Look. I use Android (feel free to check @kiriappeee or @area51research on twitter to see where my tweets come from) but I know what the value of a smooth experience is over this customization and apparent openness that appeals to a very specific niche. My honest preference right now. iPhone 4s, WP7 and then Android. Disclaimer. I have not yet used ICS on a good device. So this preference is without ICS in mind.

Windows Phone definitely did start at least a full second earlier in this video. But it looks like Android - WP7 are extremely equal in this contest, since they both won and lost to each other multiple times

@WP7User Android users couldn't care less because most where won by the default tiles of WP7, on Android you can put a custom widget and do the same for most of the challenges. Moreover 1 or 2 seconds mean nothing when you have an open and customizable android smartphone with hundreds different roms to choose from and corresponding user interfaces..
