I doubt this game will die off soon. COD MW is just a bit too clunky in the features. Sure, perks are great and all, but there's nothing like raw unaided shooting. Look at Quake 3 Arena. It's been around since '98 but it's still pumping with vets. COD2 will be no different because it has such an infinite replay value, not to mention it can play on just about any PC using DX7 mode.
