Made by Kia for all sub compacts they call it the world motor. All company's use them Honda. Toyota, Kia, Yes even Ford, Chevy, and Dodge have a compact with this motor in it. Made in Korea. used world wide. I have a Toyota Yaris with this motor run great 45 mpg plenty of power ( not a drag racing motor) But cheap to operate!!

This generation of Yaris is built in either France or Japan. Most UK models are built in France.

The engine is a Toyota engine.

@cicola motor made in south Korea.. The car is made in Japan. CLUE- Toyota :-)
