  • 5 peoples don't have a sub-woofer!

  • @ddrs007 51 lol my keyboard did not register it

  • Uhm Yeah can I get a download link? That would be sick.

  • i really liked where the base was going at 0:57, i wish you had carried that sub bass through out the song instead of the borgore esque wobbles

  • Even the guy on the pic would like this!!!

  • I LOVE THIS

  • This is beautiful! Thank you so much

  • League of Legends.

  • the only reason the is good isn't because of the dubstep....

  • You're a sick, terrible human being for making this. I despise every fiber of your being for defiling timeless classics with dubstep trash.

  • @Cainus44 do you really 'despise' someone who you have never met? because I doubt it, also please remember that music is essentially subjective and that most people's criteria for being a sick, terrible human being is usually more severe than remixing a song. I hate how people use their anonymity on the internet to be rude whereas if you were speaking to me in person you would just say, 'sorry its not my kind of music.'

  • @caniphobia PLAAAAAANE TICKETS BITCH. I hate people who can't come up with a better response than "Say that to my face". To me, that's an admission of me be correct. My point is that dubstep is trash, and you fucking remixed Chopin with it. The laziest, stupidest, least complex, and most horrible genre of music out there, and you fucking defiled Chopin with it. This is not even a classic anymore. You pissed on Chopin's grave.

  • @Cainus44 I understood your point, I just disagreed with it, there is a lot of good dubstep which sounds nothing like this video, it is a wide and varied genre just like anyother. Also I never implied 'say that to my face' but I was making the point that just because you are posting on the internet does not mean you have to be rude and immature. Anyway this is fruitless because I'm sure your just trolling, when your older you'll realise that your comments were a little embarrassing.

  • @caniphobia Dubstep in any form is terrible. It's a genre of techno meant for 14 year olds who think it's hardcore an rebellious, and that good techno like Daft Punk or Deadmau5 is too mainstream. Hipsters in the making. Wub wub wub is not music.

Yes, you did basically tell me to say it to your face. I don't give a fuck how you think I'm acting. I'm genuinely outraged you did this. There are few good things in the world, and you had the audacity to ruin one of them.

  • @Cainus44 I can't understand how posting a youtube video which 99.9% of the world will never hear constitutes 'ruining' a song. The original nocturne is still there, it can still be heard and I haven't magically changed it. to be honest you seem to be very easily offended to the point where your argument is very irrational. dubstep did not originate from 'techno' it evolved from dub also you should be aware that Deadmau5's record label has Skrillex on it and Deadmau5 also makes dubstep

  • @caniphobia total schooling on your part. well done!

  • @caniphobia i agree with u

  • @caniphobia Man, you are awesome. Posting this amazing work and having the ability to shoot down Cainus44 in the most awesome way possible...you are my new hero.

  • @Cainus44 You know if you don't like the music he's making, why are you here in the first place? The original is good. yes. But that don't make people disrespecting the artist who made this, just because they remix it.

If you don't agree to @Caniphobia , get off this site and listen to the original! Stop bothering this guy for his work! It's easy. exit your browser OR just enter another page. It IS that easy.

  • @Cainus44 You say RUINED like he took the only existing copy of the song and tampered with it. Calm the hell down, crazy. Art is all about creativity, not about how much you like it or what it's like. Dubstep is just as much music as Classical. Skrillex is just as much an artist as Beethoven. To mix two types of art only makes more art, it doesn't damage either side.

  • @Cainus44 Have you EVER tried to make dubstep? It's not easy at all. But, you'll simply refute this argument by saying "wah, of course not idiot because I hate dubstep and it isn't music!" Music changes, but what never changes is the people like you who desperately cling to tradition. If people like you had their way, the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Michael Jackson, Nirvana, and any other band wouldn't exist because we'd still be listening to Chuck Berry songs. Fuck you, sir.

  • @weepinggiraffe i commend your tasteful use of the f-bomb

  • @weepinggiraffe digital music arrangement. anyone who thinks that isnt a valid form of music composition is stoned.

  • @caniphobia actually it's a not a subjective thing... Good music will allways be good music and bad music will allways suck . Now I like this version, but in general, dubstept sucks ass unless you are under 17 =D

  • @ugandaplayer you just contradicted yourself: 'actually it's(music) a not a subjective thing' and 'dubstept sucks ass unless you are under 17 =D' are two sentences that cannot work in the same paragraph....

  • @caniphobia the idea is that kids have shit taste in music ( including myself when I was 17 or under 17 ) in most cases . I didn't contradict myself u silly fuck :P

  • @Cainus44 this song is horrible i'll give you that that, the classics are good so i'll give you that too, but dubstep is not trash you ignorant piece of shit bastard. it is quite possibly the best genre of music out there right now, so fuck you you new age hating prick.

  • @Cainus44 and i'd imagine you're a pompous git...about as lateral-minded as nil. I've suddenly joined the caniphobia army, and i'm gonna kick your ass :)

  • @Cainus44 keep trollin asshole

  • This song is my descent into madness....

  • @tigerstyletony fuck off you cunt

  • @harryforeman wow....douche much...I wasn't disrespecting the song ass-butt...I was saying that its like going crazy

  • Its ok, needs a lot of work,. my ear hurts. the mixing = 4 out of ten. but a great idea, cant wait to hear it when its touched up. thanks

  • Magical!!! Bravo!!! The future of music.

  • its half 2 in the morning said my neighbour, ive got to be up at 6 said my neighbour, turn your music off said my neighbour... i said no.

  • This is an amazing beat. its relaxing yet takes you on a trip....driving long periods of time listening to this feels absolutly amazing oh and with the windows down

  • great, but its not remix when you put part of song in front and then use one chord or piano sound in rest of actual song. THIS IS NOT REMIX!

  • Sound like optimus prime garling his oil in the morning.

  • Treble overdrive is a nice touch

  • hey which nocturne is this?

  • jakim kurwa prawem !

  • fuuck that gap before the drop totally killed it. would have been awesome. Maybe a bit more piano but I'm just being picky.

  • I love so much the original song and i have to admit that i was curious and i wanted to know if there were a dubstep verson... Thank you for done that.

  • WHat da mada faka?

  • it* Anyways on topic: Nice song, good job caniphobia

  • ignore the moral fags, this is nice, finally a way to make kids listen to classical ;))

  • @7e8t9

If this is the way to convince them then i say don't let them listen to it at all :) I shouldn't need this ;)

  • I love you for mixing my two musical loves....I could hug you.

  • :O....not Chopin! lol

  • Is their nothing holy to you scoundrels?!

  • AAaaahhhh at least we have culture in the house!

  • Love the part starting at 2:18. Sounds like something outta Silent Hill. :)

  • Chopin - Nocturno en fa menor Op 55 Nº :)

  • ahhh dubstep before it mainstreamed........ hard to find now a days

  • which nocturne is it???

  • I am a hardcore emo, and I love Deathcore etc. BUT... I take my hat off to you. Brilliant dubstep remx of a classicall peice of music.

    Congradulationz.

  • @MrTwilightrocks789 go cut yourself

  • OK...i GOT THAT! TOUCHÉ!

  • no cheers

  • everything has to follow evolution path....

  • Listen to 16-bit- classical, it's a much better 'dubstep remix' of a classical song imo!

  • Does anyone have the original name of the song?

  • WOB

  • no

  • In the words of Trent Reznor "There's something strangely musical about noise" :) Thank you for mixing two genres of music that I love together!

  • it reminds me of Kai Trance and Acid at some parts

  • To me, dubstep does not seem to be music, rather a series of electronic sound effects timed perfectly to fit to a rhythm. There is no harmonic or melodic value. It sounds cool to dance to, but not to listen to. Hey, just my opinion.

  • @Tgreenfi08 your opinion sounds like pretentious dickery. After all isnt music just sounds timed to fit a pattern anyway? Also this song needs MOAR GODDAMN BASE! D:<

  • @Tgreenfi08 Then why you listening to it, bud?

  • Comment removed

  • @Tgreenfi08 I can appreciate your opinion as well as agree with it.

  • greAT!!!

  • All of you need to die. Seriously. What. The. Fuck.

  • @cannabisabuser notyhing wrong with bringing an outdated song up to 21st century standards

  • @geikogecko If you think this music is outdated, you need to see your psychologist.

If, on top of that, you think this music needs to be updated with dubstep, you might as well take the quick way out and decapitate yourself.

  • @cannabisabuser the last time classical music was relevant was about 300 years ago. music has evolved since then, sorry if your stuck in the past.

  • @geikogecko Have you ever heard of the expression "this music is timeless"?

It means that no matter how old, it will still speak to you. Dubstep will be recycled in a few years and some new trend will show up, next generation will listen to dubstep and say "what the fuck?" while classical music still holds relevancy these days.

It's not always about how many computers you use that progresses the music, it's about the message and, as cheese as it sounds, feeling. Dubstep has neither.

  • @cannabisabuser dubstep is forever. classical is like screamo, it was only popular for a short period of time with a small segment of music-listeners.

  • @geikogecko 0/10 troll harder

  • @cannabisabuser nice, took you long enough

  • @geikogecko Yea, you had me there for a sec, knowing that dubstep fans can really be that retarded.

  • @cannabisabuser haha true

  • @geikogecko You have to enjoy it.

  • @geikogecko umm.... the romantic era itself (which the chopin piece comes from) lasted for nearly a century. dubstep's been around for about ten years at best....

  • @saxashton umm so what jazz has also managed to limp along for 100 years despite it being bad music that nobody listens to

  • @geikogecko what the fuck are you talking about? jazz is some of the musically complex music out there, with a huge following of people who understand and listen to good music. if you think no one listens to it you clearly don't even know enough to comment on the genre as a whole. i go to a school of music where jazz is HUGE and the town around it fully supports and appreciates it.

  • @Dax131 yea im sure your jazz town has a lot going for it. must be cool to live ina town stuck in the 1920s

  • @geikogecko sure is. must be cool being a troll too buddy. hope that works out for you in the future.

  • @Dax131 its cool to call people who dont agree you with trolls. lets you preserve your narrow, biased perspective without any uncomfortable debates

  • @geikogecko Jazz is alright. Not the best, but it's alright. at least its music. this however is not. this piece was ruined the minute some simpleminded hip hop retard decided to put a drum beat on it. I think music stopped after 70's rock (not that i like rock, because I dont!). after that it was and is now nothing but noise with a drum track.

  • @Bri212211

I guess that really depends. There are some good songs with "just a drum track" as you say.

But again, this is what separates generations and what a lot of stupid youtubers fight about.

  • @JihoonJKim There is a lot that separates the generations. Musicians now cannot tell you one thing about music theory, whereas the great composers studied it from an early age. Thats how they wrote their masterpieces. They understood music so well they could improvise great numbers without thinking about it. Music takes a lot of brain and understanding. Musicians are just lazy now and everything is done from a computer. It's disappointing.

  • @Bri212211

As a musician myself, I feel that is incorrect.

Sure, formal training is rigorous and often produces 'greater' musicians, but there are other factors.

For example, I learn by ear. The idea of formal training was too restricting for me. I am a free-flow type of player; a person who plays whatever sounds appealing.

But what I do the most is listen for patterns and styles. If there is a technique I love from a song, I'll implement it. "Bad artists copy; great artists steal."

  • @Bri212211

I mean, sure, I might not make "masterpieces," but calling something a masterpiece is an opinion in itself.

And the newer generations may not take formal classes, but that's because there is not a lot of formal classes (especially for things like dubstep) to take in the first place, compared to formal classes for classical or whatnot.

  • @JihoonJKim I think masterpiece defines the greatest work the composer ever made. Im not comparing it to all works, just the ones they did. Thats how I see it. Music is music. There's different styles of it but it can all be reduced to the same thing. Music classes arent just for classical music. I dont think dubstep needs a class. If someone with no musical ability can do it in their spare time i think anyone can do it.

  • @Bri212211

but again, this goes with availability for each "class" or type of music.

For instance, traditional classical requires a live orchestra that can actually produce the sound the director/composer wants. Dubstep, on the other hand, has programs that can manipulated to fit any style the "composer" wants. That's why people can make it in their spare time.

Even, those musical classes have things mostly not related to other styles (maybe rhythmic fundamentals, I suppose.)

  • @JihoonJKim Traditional classic can be played on piano, violin, anything really. composing orchestra music would be an extremely hard class. Im talking about basic music theory. Its sad when a musician cant write down his music. even drums have music theory. Music is so much easier to make when you know how it works. When you see prodigies playing, its not just their skill, its their understanding of the music.

  • @Bri212211

I see what you mean, but again, this is something that divides a musician who feels vs. musician who knows technical theory.

In the end, both do "know" the theory.

  • @JihoonJKim I dont understand quite what you are saying. feeling goes with theory. we are able to play music today exactly the way the composers did hundreds of years ago with the same exact emotion because of the theory. its an amazing thing. theory is much more than notes. Music is an extremely complicated structure. If you give me an emotion i can play you a song like it just by knowing simple major/minor scales. emotion and theory are one because one helps AND records the other.

  • @Bri212211

What I'm trying to get that is that the emotions put behind dubstep (not all, but the good ones, anyway) are the same of the masters back then, like Chopin.

    It's just a different interpretation.

  • @JihoonJKim you have very little to work with in dubstep. I get an entirely different feeling when i listen to this song with dubstep. Any song can create emotion, but the composers back then knew how to do it with such precise detail and perfect modulation it goes beyond comprehension. so when i see people put drums to it, it enrages me because it might sound good to you, but its taking away the actual meaning.

  • @Bri212211

The purpose of dubstep is different.

While it can serve to incite deep emotions, it is most used to excite or for creating energy. (hence why it is used in clubs.)

Weird. Now I think about it....

    club = dub?

  • @JihoonJKim exactly!!! you understand completely. However, adding it to classical music is taking away the original emotion and replacing it with that energetic one youre talking about. For me it doesn't appeal to. I guess because I'm so used to older music.

  • @Bri212211

I see. That does make it problematic and I do agree.

But it's that most of people who try to remix classical do it hoping that they can capture the deep emotions and raw beauty of such classics and give it their own "spin" so they can leave a mark on the history of music too.

Who knows, maybe certain dubstep songs will be considered "Classical" at one point in the future.

Yay for having an INTELLECTUAL conversation on youtube.

    (It's like a paradox :o)

  • @JihoonJKim hahaha. To leave a mark on the history of music now would be very difficult. So many people listen to different things and could you picture a pop or dubstep prodigy? Again, you don't have that much flexibility with music nowadays, except the guitar i guess. Anyway, if there was a great piano prodigy who wrote pieces better than chopin and liszt he would probably be ignored. Makes me sad.

  • @Bri212211 Ignored by most, but I can imagine there would be plenty of interest in the end. Maybe if they were to go on "America's Got Talent" or something. (humour)

  • @MyCatSnoresLoudly I don't think america's got talent would vote yes for something like that. They wouldn't have the time or the ear for it. Yes, usually great composers (and writers) are only appreciated the most long after their death.

  • @Bri212211 I concur for the most part, but you never know. :D

  • @Bri212211 I disagree, i think theory and emotion are completely separate, while yes it is possible to play a note-for-note recreation of the way it was written by beethoven/chopin/brahms/whoever, that does not mean that it instills the same feeling in you that it did in them. Likewise you can add emotion to a piece by deviating from the way it was meant to be played. Feeling a piece and knowing how ti play a piece are different things in my opinion

  • @doomsday1216 Youre right to a certain degree. People play old pieces differently all the time. Its however the person likes it. But theory is how you record that feeling. Without theory everything is lost. Theory is the written form of the composers emotion. Feel free to deviate, but the real version is your foundation. They're not different, theory was created in order to record emotion.

  • @geikogecko haha bro you have GOT to be trolling.

  • @cannabisabuser damn son you're by far the angriest cannabis abuser i've ever seen.......

  • @geikogecko whoa! you are VERY wrong. classical music wasnt just a "trend". It was the height of music itself. I can tell you dont know one think about music. These composers wrote every single note so perfect it still leaves me shocked that humans could produce such a think. Nothing so complex and emotion filled has been produced since them. take it from someone who has studied music intensely, you are very VERY wrong. in all my music career i have never heard someone say such stupid things.

  • @cannabisabuser chill man, don't threaten death on people, I made this when I was young and I liked the power of the song, i thought the same tune could be used in electronic music, that is all, i wasn't trying to offend anyone...you dont have to listen it if you find it unpleasant

  • @cannabisabuser

    shut up idiot

  • @cannabisabuser lolz

  • Sounded nice up until 0:50

  • WHY

  • the part at 2:25 make me smile

  • so what what would the artist's name be on this..? - id like to run it by a radio station...

  • My friend had to preform CPR on me after i listened to this song... The wobble at 0:56 left me gasping for air...

  • lame

  • @todshelton Agreed

  • Comment removed

  • Where can I download this????

  • This is seriously awesome. Two totally opposite styles of music perfectly fused together. Well done!

  • my mother came into the room and she was like "Oh!! Chopin!!!"

once she heard the drop her face grimaced.

I smiled and chuckled to myself :)

  • @HughGReckshun1 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH THE EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED WITH MY GRANDMOTHER

  • @HughGReckshun1 i love MILFS doh, HA =)

  • The unholy marriage of Dub and Chopin, amazing!

  • 0:58 oh its ON

  • kickass remix!

    :D

  • i keep looking up "chopin nocturne" to hear the full version of the piano in the beginning, but i keep hearing different things!!!!

from what part of the song is the sample here from?

  • love !

  • Good listen - what would make it over, say, 9000 or so?

    If you're taking suggestions:

720p + Mastering (not in Fl Studios)

Genocide the mid in those early, speedy wobbles

MagnusChoir in key from 0:30-1:00 or something moar transitiony

    Thanks for your production /b/ro

  • there are some really great parts and then there are some not so great parts. keep working on this song and it could be really really good. :)

  • Well this blows. WTF was the point of the intro if you are not going to use it for anything ? should have started the song with break beats and thats it....

  • You should do some Franz Liszt.

  • delicious eargasms.

  • This song seems to really capture the mood of the original, I think Chopin would appreciate this.
