It is an okay phone. Nothing good or bad about it except for the camera and even that is okay. I have had problems with messaging but I called att and they fixed it within half an hour or so. I say if you want one than get one.
This phone sucks Do Not Buy. Worst phone I ever had, soo many problems not worth it. First of all the windows software is complete garbage after a short time it started lagging worse then my computer, then when I get calls the phone would freeze and I would have to take out battery to restart. Worse then that it would randomly turn off in the middle of the night even with 100% battery causeing me to be late for work because I used the alarm. if I had to rate woukd be 2/10

I have this phone and I can't wait for the contract to expire in September. this is the worse phone I've ever owned - painfully sluggish when doing anything (flip from 10key to qwerty takes a few seconds, so does starting up the camera AND taking a pic), it pauses painfully whenever there's an incoming message and people I'm talking to and hear the message alert and well as I can. THIS PHONE BLOWS!
You are wrong about having only one way to get to the camera. You can access the camera through the menu also. You go to Start/ All programs/ Applications and it is the first one there.
also just so u know on the duo if you are a texter at all.. I could text only for about 3 hours then it would die where as on the impact I can go about a day and a half.. Jus thought u might want to know that
please listen to me.. Get the imact! Not only is ilight weight but it has an OUTSTANDING battery life unlike the duo :P I wanted the duo so bad because of the keyboard and I wouldn't listen to anyone but please trust me and gt the impact! Although the duo is a smartphone, it freezes a lot and glitches and turns off randomly and mine broke about 2 years after I got it.. When nothing even happened!! I hope this helps(:
i freind had this phone for a while and its been tortured to extreme levels (dropped in a cup of water, thrown over pavilions and tossed 30ft in the air and never cought countless times and numerous other trials). it still works like its new and aside from some minor scratches that arnt noticable unless you realy look for them, it looks fairly new to. so wat u guys r saying is a bunch of crap this phone isnt half bad.

I had the Matrix, which was just like this phone only a newer version. I was gonna get this phone since I wanted a texting phone, but I'm glad I waited for the Matrix I heard alot of bad reviews for this phone.
If you want a good first texting phone get the Matrix, it's amazing.
I don't have AT&T anymore, but that was the only phone I liked from their company.

I have it and it's extremly slow. It only works in asome places and sometimes it has to have five bars to send a text. I get all my text messages about three hours later as well as my missed calls and voicemails. Sometimes I don't even get missed calls. I would think twice about getting this phone, I'm in the process of getting a new one.
i have this phone but its by microsoft instead of at&t. the microsoft version is way better but looks the same but it has the microsoft sign on it. u can get to the camera by going to your pics and click on the one with the picture of a camera on it. the at&t is way worse than the microsoft version. i bought my pantech at acenntenial wireless store.

QWERTY design makes you better off using xt9, call quality is near useless, which badly affects hands free, 50% of all MMS msgs will freeze the phone, camera take muddy pictures and take nearly 5seconds to start. I regret ever buying this phone
oh, and, the spring came out of my phone when I slide it to show the numbers. so it doesnt stay up... and I can slide it both ways to show the numbers and the keyboard. its pretty lame...

It works, but Im trying to get a Samsung Impression. I dont really recommend having it for a long time.

DO NOT GET THIS PHONE.
its slow, it lags, it freezes ALL THE TIME. if you dont have enough memory, even the camera wont work and you constantly have to go to the task menu and stop them. ITS SO ANNOYING. i tripped on the charger two days ago and the thing that holds the charger in broke off.
cheap phone, all the way.

I had the Matrix, which was just like this phone only a newer version. I was gonna get this phone since I wanted a texting phone, but I'm glad I waited for the Matrix I heard alot of bad reviews for this phone.
If you want a good first texting phone get the Matrix, it's amazing.
I don't have AT&T anymore, but that was the only phone I liked from their company.

Yeah I totally agree with you... I am waiting for my upgrade to get a new one... I have insurance to get another pantech... but I don't even this this phone is worth the 50 dollars i have to pay for the new one!

I have the phone and it is very durable and cool...I enjoy it. I have had mine for a year...good for the money imo.

I've had this phone for 2 years an it still works like new. It's a great phone. I use it like an ipod with the WMP. Just use a micro sd card.

i had this phone about 6 months and the slid is coming off and its a peice of crap and gets reallly slow but the keyboard is nice but overall the phone sucks do NOT get this phone

worst phone ever. dont get this. i would be in a place and have all 5 bars and it would say it was unable to send text messages and and allow calls. i just bought the xenon 2 days ago and its awesome. i only had the duo for a little over a year and had my sim card changed 2 times. i never dropped it and always took care of it. this phone is shit.

I have it and it's extremly slow. It only works in asome places and sometimes it has to have five bars to send a text. I get all my text messages about three hours later as well as my missed calls and voicemails. Sometimes I don't even get missed calls. I would think twice about getting this phone, I'm in the process of getting a new one.

i have this phone but its by microsoft instead of at&t. the microsoft version is way better but looks the same but it has the microsoft sign on it. u can get to the camera by going to your pics and click on the one with the picture of a camera on it. the at&t is way worse than the microsoft version. i bought my pantech at acenntenial wireless store.

cause like a month after you get it its SO SLOW!! it glitches all the time, half the time it takes up to a minute for the screen to go sideways when you open it that way...when someone calls me and i press the answer button it will sometimes turn off, it hardly ever sends the messages...and tons of other stuff....its just cheap over all...the quality of the phone is terrible, just do not get it...

If noboty has realized yet but Pantech is just horrible company. They are always wayyyyyy!! behind on the styles of phones. They are from Korea so they really arent up on there technology either. Sooo none are there phones are gonna be awsome.

i have this phone after 3 months it started turning off by itself and freezing and when its off it dosnt get calls or texts but it will only get voice mails i just got my samsung solstice today and i love it when i got home i broke my duo in every way possible :]

Ive had this phone for about a year now and I got to admit: this is the 2nd worse phone Ive ever owned, 1st being the LG CU320.
QWERTY design makes you better off using xt9, call quality is near useless, which badly affects hands free, 50% of all MMS msgs will freeze the phone, camera take muddy pictures and take nearly 5seconds to start. I regret ever buying this phone

oh, and, the spring came out of my phone when I slide it to show the numbers. so it doesnt stay up... and I can slide it both ways to show the numbers and the keyboard. its pretty lame...

I have the Pantech Duo and when I first got it I was really excited :D but Ive had it for over a year now and I want to killll iitttt. it doesnt charge unless I strap the charger cable to the back of it and position it right, it freezes daily, the battery dies really fast, theres a lot of negatives about it.. It works, but Im trying to get a Samsung Impression. I dont really recommend having it for a long time.

i have this phone. its really look if u lyk txting! but the thing that sucks...most of them don't let u send/recieve pictures! ugh i love the settings. txt screen. easy keyboard. and really easy to use! BAD THING; wen u take a video. the video is...how should i say this....it freezes up to much wen u watch the video. i recommend it..but not ALOT. i lyk it about.. 90%

they doint sel the duo anymore at att get the neon this smartphone thought it was smarter thanmy friend. so it did anything ti wanted to do, so this phone is very glitchy so get neither get the Nokia Surge it came out today it cost $129.99 under contract
