OMGosh!!!! I can't believe I happened upon this!! I can remember Friday nights, going to the Loft in Austin MN after the football game and standing in line to get in to hear Thunder-tree!! Where can I find their rendition of "Down by the River" and "Sixteen Tons"? Great post Thank you so much I 'm15!!! again! A Great Fan. Permy
@Ganderbax If you can find a copy of "Gathering at The Depot", "16 Tons" is one of the cuts. I was not part of that project. I did record a version of our arrangement with Dervin Wallin (our original vocalist) and Grizzly. If I find the master, I may ask someone to post it. Don't recall doing "Down By The River" with Thundertree.
