When Nora Jones sings it, I can connect with her and feel her loss, when Smokey Robinson sings it, I can hear him singing to his lost love and I feel for their loss. That's the difference for me. Both great versions.

What a fantastic remake! This song was made for Smokey. I liked Norah Jones' version but her voice was so light that it didn't quite do the song justice. Smokey is a true maestro and apparently ageless.

ultrafine2009. I dont know who the woman in the clip is however; I didnt see an exceptionally young girl, but rather a very beautiful woman of any age. Diana Ross can look like that if not better she and Smokey have always been sweet on one another. Also Angela Bassett, Jacqueline Bisset, Iman, Cher , Susanne Somers, Susan Lucci look like that if not better. We dont know how old that woman is supposed to be, Just Beautiful.

I love Smokey and he did a great remake with this song, however whats up with the video? Could he not had a woman his age instead of someone that could be his grandchild? My grandmother's sister used to date him, when he would come to DC back in the day and she is 67! I'm 27 and their are pretty of georgeous older women (one day I plan to be one) I would love to see them recoginzed.
