@StigsGameRoom My streaming has capped this but I nearly wet myself on the thumbnail! I'll watch it tomorrow as this is proper old school! Cheers mate
I had a small number of these a fair few years back (not the ones you have, nor in such fantastic condition) sold them at a carboot in the end though, great little retro items and its bizarre to think one game spawned so much hardware!
Your Binatone is a pretty advanced one, i had one of the more simple orange and black ones without cartridges, i never knew Binatone made a cart based system! great video, thanks for this mate
Those pong systems are in really good shape for their age (except for the scar from the soldering iron). I liked the 8mm film look to the video as well.
@edt1138 Thanks Ed, yeah I was gutted at the time when I burned it but it's not that noticable really. Seems you are the only one to have noticed the 8mm film look lol
@RPKGameVids I might do a gameplay video sometime mate, but it's just pong and variations of pong lol. If I ever get some of the other carts for it, I'll be sure to do a full review vid on it :)
Great stuff. Never seen that Binatone before, I know that some of these early cart based "programmable" machines worked by having their system architecture changed by the cart, rather than any RAM or code. Will do my research. Love the box art on the Prinztronic, the kids parents want let him play! Thanks again geezer, take care :-)
@retroballz Thanks mate, hmm that's interesting, so your saying that all the games are already built in to the system, the carts just allow access to them, cool, I may pull that cart apart and have a look at what's inside !
Nice look at some unusual Pong clone, especially the Binatone one that uses cartridges. I started with a simpler Binatone Pong clone myself, which I must get back into my collection at some point.
Great vid matey - ive had a couple of chances to grab one of those Tournament IIs in the past - they do look very cool systems :)

Excellent Pong consoles! I actually don't own any Pong consoles unless you count the Odyssey 1.
Kefka14 1 month ago
@Kefka14 Thanks Chase ! I wouldn't really consider the Odyssey to be a Pong clone, it's far to awesome for that :)

@StigsGameRoom Agreed my friend :). Especially with the awesome Rifle lol.
