Hate to be the party popper but this is a Rodney Dangerfield bit. Jimmy and his writers are actually known in the industry to steal jokes. Same thing happened with Tim Vine's joke I believe the one Jimmy Carr told on Jonathan Ross about the pool table.

Shame really, his first couple of DVDs when he wrote all his stuff were 10/10.

Its kinda easy to slag someone off if you've got a microphone and its your own show. But when ur with a group of people, all it takes is for someone to say something, and when everyone starts laughing you dont stand much of a change, no one can hear you say something back as the laughing is too loud, and since its not a show, after they laugh they aint gonna go all silent, they will go back to being noisy.
