I'm reminded of the Bert/Ernie sketch which has Ernie passing the alphabet off as an original story; he leaves off the Z because he doesn't want to spoil the ending for Bert. :-S
I remember this one very well. It was great to see it again.Love these classic clips. In case anyone hasn't heard yet, there will be a classic Sesame Street DVD

Hope she gets a wind mill and/or solar panel for her (10) house.

@heatblizzard
A treadmill would be even better, always have someone on it, the kids or one of the dogs chasing one of the cats, energy to spare!

This is almost the same style as the stop-motion "King of 8" and "Queen of 6" bits, only animated and no brushed-snare b/g music.

To keep it fair, shouldn't she have bought a tenth cat and had a tenth child?

wow.... i totally remember this.
it's funny the things you think of when you are older.
cuz i'm thinking.....you have a single mother with 9 dogs, 9 cats, and 9 kids......
man.... that cramped 9 shaped house must have some awful smells lingering from it.

If I had to guess, I would say that they moved into a 10. Just call me Sherlock Hemlock.
