This wont work for me. Instead it has the "co.nr" logo. This is from the website that you said to shorten the name of your website from. Is this interfering with the one I upload, and is there a way to fix it.

if you have your index page and stuff to a website or what ever you wanna call it folder put the icon in that folder just drag or save it in that folder!! its that easy

@pjspeter - This is a simple tutorial, coding is not essential, it's the function of the code that is important. I am a professional site designer and developer so I do realise that coding in some of my tutorials is not perfect. =)

It may take a bit of time to load the favicon, make sure it is a .ico file and it's in the same location as the .html document. :)
