  • the way you made a fish gave me a nice idea to do a rocket for boys :)

  • you are great,i really would like more of your tutorials, thanks for sharing,God bless your talent, you do it easy and profexional

  • U r very pretty! And i think u r soooooo talented with art!

  • you are so beautiful!! and i love your art work!!!!!!

  • @bnct09 Thank you!

  • Thank you Lisa, what an awesome and fast shark. What brand of flat brushes do you prefer? I have a paradise 1inch flat brush that I got from silly farm and after a few uses it got so ugly and makes nasty nasty lines

  • @liliavillapando I actually really like the One Stroke brand flat brushes (with the green handles). They're priced very fairly and hold their shape really well. The only problem with them is that the paint doesn't stay on the wooden handles very well, so after a little while it starts peeling pretty badly. It doesn't bother me, but it might bug some...

  • First... Bravo for painting on yourself!

Second... This looks like fun and I have to try it :)

  • Gogeous shark!!! I think I'm going to get a little Arty Cake to do this fast for an upcoming gig. I saw a pic of a quick dolphin like this, too!

I've done a shark using the kids mouth, but it takes along time loading my brush because the design is so big. This looks so much easier!

    *hugs*

  • hi Lisa, i love your tutorials! i need a full penguin face.

    10x in advance!!!

    vered Israel!

  • @svregev I'm so sorry, but because this is now the Halloween season, all of the face painting tutorials coming up will be Halloween themed until November. I found a photo of a full penguin face painting online though. It looks extremely simple and should need no explanation on how to execute it. I'll message you a link to the photo :)

  • Great video! Thanks again! I second the peacock request.

  • Please do a tutorial on your peacock. That sounds like a wonderful design to do on a child. The shark and fish are very good. Great colors!

  • @danapacella I must admit, I made the cake for a peacock mask, but never mastered it. I haven't tried it for a while, but I'll play around with it as soon as I have time. When I find a fast and easy way to do it, I'll make a video!

  • Love it! Those were both awesome! I struggled with sharks and I think the key was the angle of the nose like you said, I wasn't giving that upturned nose. Thanks Lisa, your videos are great! Can you tell me where you order the DFX split cakes - I usually order from Silly Farm, and they don't carry any diamond FX!

  • @75Kelso Me too! My sharks looked HORRIBLE until I realized I was doing the nose wrong. As soon as I figured it out, I thought, "I MUST do a video on this!" :) You can find DFX at the website I show at the bottom of the screen at the very beginning and end of the video. I would type it out here, but youtube doesn't allow URLs in the comment sections.
