Generation III was, by far, the best game I've played. I mean, seriously, no other game in Pokemon has you solve puzzles in Braille to catch 3 legendary pokemon with certain pokemon in your party while still adding so much more from Gold and Silver (contests, epic battle music, a new enemy to fight, etc.).

Well, everyone will be calling the music nostalgic by the time gen 6 comes around.

I hate using words like "best" and "worst" when referring to pokemon generations. They're all awesome and unique in their own ways. My personal favorite is the third generation since I was not young enough to miss out on the experience (1st gen) but was old enough to appeciate it and not be too old to grow distant from it like I am with the 5th gen. It struck the biggest chord with me and I have more nostalgia value, that's all :)
