This show was good, not great but in general with most 90's shows, viewers could relate to the characters and situations. In this, Taina is a talented girl with dreams of making it big. She's not there yet but working at it. Shows today, these characters are already rich and famous, hanging with celeb and look/dress older then they are. Its not cute or fun, just wild/insane. Times change, but simply the shows on tv today, are the shits.
I read this was cancelled because it was becoming to much to make and appealed to females more then males but had good ratings. Seriously, Nickelodeon Studio didn't make enough money back then to keep the show going. More fucked up, is who cares if a show appeals to female more then males or vs? That can happen somethings, but if the show has good ratings, keep it on. I don't get that. The entertainment industry is just fucked up.

I remember that woman from "My Brother And Me" The three boys were the funniest on that show. The grown ups comic sense of humor was kind of mediocre. But the funniest boy was the dark skin one that played Ralphie's best friend from next door. I remember one episode where Ralphie's little sister said to the boy next door "2345 You Ain't Got No Alliby, You Ugly, Yeah Yeah, You Ugly"! And he replied to her, "0123 Boy It Looks Like Weave To Me, Its Fony, Yeah Yeah, Its Fony"! I was screamin.
