Actually what keeps me from pedaling in a slow turn is heel strike of the front wheel ;) At speed turns are generally wide enough so that heel strike and the lowness of the bars isn't a problem.
@megatherian Its normally not an issue, but where I ride there is a pedistrain bridge with a 180° turn half way up. Being able to pedal through that 15' radius turn going uphill is one of the cool things about recumbent bikes.
So what do we call the pose now? its not the praying mantis, or the chipmonk, looks more like you fell asleep with your arms in the air :^)

Looks like you will not be able to pedal through a turn, the way that handlebar hangs down where your legs want to be?
