I love "i love lucy". This is the best comedy. To me this is real comedy not the trash that is seen in this generation. Love all the episodes.

good for you, lucyabitofall-- I was wondering if a young person would think "I Love Lucy" was funny. Sometimes just because it's from another generation--it doesn't get a chance. Anyway, kudos to you for keeping your mind open enough to receive it.

@tgandwhatever I find I have a very open mind to all types of media. I like jazz music from the 20's to pop music today.

I like all manners of eras of movies and tv shows as well.

I reckon that a lot of young people WOULD like I Love Lucy if they were introduced to it. I also have no doubts that a lot of teens wouldn't.

And yes you are totally right, those without an open mind would have difficulty enjoying it, despite its awesomeness.

@lucyabitofall Yes,I was only 3 at the time, but my mom was a Lucy fan from day one and we always watched together. When I did something wrong, she'd say "Ralph, you got some 'splainin' to do!"

@skudaarkaat1 Yeah, sadly I think it's pretty rare for young people such as myself to be interested in classic tv shows. If they would give it a chance they might like it. However, I believe that the vast majority of 16 year olds are too brainwashed on the garbage that the internet and modern television to appreciate this show. It is definetely one of my favourites.

@skudaarkaat1 The majority of the people who watch this show are in their 40s/50s/60s but I have made friends with someone else who watches my show and is sixteen, so I know I'm not the only one :).

@lucyabitofall I'm 29 and I've been an avid Lucy fan for as long as I can remember. I guess I'm apparently on the young side. My mom got me hooked on I Love Lucy. I listen to My Favorite Husband all the time on my iPod, and I just bought the Mr. and Mrs. Cugat book that MFH is based on.

I'm always shocked when I hear about people who've never heard of Lucy. I try to tell people about my love for Lucy whenever I can! :D
