I've been looking for something like this for a long time; I come from a blues/electric/rock background, but I've been playing some acoustic folk with a band as of late, and I've been looking for a way of picking that makes the melody notes I'm plucking stand out more from the rest of the chord.
Clearly that's what you've been able to do here. Awesome job, I love the hammer-ons and rolls. ;-) excuse me if I steal your picking style.

What I do here is basically picking the bass- and melody notes with a thumb pick and making the downstrokes/strums with the index finger. A style I use for the banjo as well. I have other versions of Shady grove here, also with song.
And a couple of versions of Pretty Polly, where I play in the same style.
