man u saved my ass, it renders so damn fast as it uses processor to render and i rendered before this for 3 hours a 17 gb (same video) and it was shit fucking quality, now i used this and boom 17gb -> 230 mb and a lot better quality. oh dog thanks a lot!!! <3

TY so much for this. I can finally encode high quality with low file size and make sony vegas recognize my recorded games with this codec install which sometimes would glitch out when editing. The quality is so good now changing from 360p is not even necessary.

One last thing, I do not like the widescreen setting, so if I could get a good video quality for a TV screen, not a widescreen, and a short file it would be great. @carmac123 you can make the file size, like 720x480 pixels, or 640x480, and it will give you 4:3 (not widescreen) TV resolution.

I want to thank you for replying. When you do a video like this and walk us through it, it really really helps me a lot, when you mention the settings, because I'm handicap, or incapacitated, my vision is one of my main problems. So I pretty much listen, and have to magnify the screen and use a magnifying glass at the same time. It would be nice if you could redo the video and pronounce each setting. It's a blessing to see and hear, I have problems with both but more with my eyes. God Bless you.

I tried to follow up on your settings but I got lost somewhere at the end, nonetheless the video I rendered was way smaller than what it was before, I went from over one or 2 Gigs, to less than 120 MB or less, nonetheless the rendering time was quite long for a short time video. I want to thank you for your walk though. Just one recommendation,

Put the Field Order to Upper Field First, Width 1.280 and Height 720, Frame Rate 25,000 (PAL), Deinterlace Method to Interpolate Fields, then press OK! :)

@THEinsane1z Yah choose either 32 or 64-bit, then download it then double click on that file. If installation is ready, exit from Sony Vegas and open it up again, then you should see it on your list.

Good codec, got it working, dont know how the rest of these idiots cant, anyway your wrong on the file size, for ten minutes mine came out at 194MB, so i dont know what your math skills are like but you cant get 75MB (well you can but the quality will be crap)

@elpimproy First of all, you must make sure that your Sony Vegas version is 64-bit, and your Windows is 64-bit. If that's correct, try downloading the 32-bit version.

@IPK875 What version of Sony Vegas you use? If you use 8 or 9, try using the latest one - version 10.0. I'll give you a link in description for a torrent where you can download full version of Sony Vegas 10.0. Check description and start downloading Sony Vegas 10.0 from the torrent by utorrent!!!
