Ya the army destroyed the whole block with an nuclear artillery shell. Nuke shells to exist, but I don't think any were in service during the 1980's, at least not in US military service. well they had to end it somehow, and at an hour and 25 minutes, its a normal length film. i think we gotta real good bang for the buck back in the day when ppl rented this movie, instead of torrenting them.... now a days we appreciate movies less and criticize more...movies were way better back then.. i didnt like the ending either..but its like a comic book ..at some point you see "the end" and then your sad and pissed off till the next issue...
