Unless you've actually been on a cross country team you dont know how much it hurts, you dont know the aches and pains of just running 300 meters after running 4700 meters. It hurts.

@dallascowboys9able It hurts like death!! Just watching it makes this 57 year old body feel the pain of when it was 17. That was an amazing finish. What it takes for Phil to do what he did is incredible. Superlative runner.

@jaredknight did you see the old guy waving him over? He was about to run to the left and out of the race... So he had to cut back to the right and next to the other guy. The dude even fell while taking the inside lane at that one corner and still came back. Too bad i got DQ'd at mine for taking my shoes off... Stupid rule, only like the 3rd time i did it that seaso nand they never said anything.
